That is how i'd rate them, with Orr being 100 (Lidstrom would be around 75 compared to Orr.)
If you're going to rate it that way, half the NHL would have "40-point" defenseman.

Oh I see, it's perfectly ok to assume Jovo would have scored 60 points and it's perfectly ok to assume Jovo would have flourished in Zubov's era, playing in a defense first system, but somehow it's called a worse comparison when I give Zubov's actual stats?

I agree the comparison is way off, Jovo is younger and a totally different player. Zubov is a veteran and an arguably top 5 defenseman. It's like comparing Joe Thornton to Mike Modano.

DIFFERENT ERA??? HELLO???

Jovanovski was drafted 1st overall the year Zubov won the cup (brings back bad memories... bad Lafayette, BAD!). Zubov was a pretty young player then. Two seasons later, Jovanovski was in the cup finals w/ Florida, where they got swept by the Avalanche.

To say Zubov was in a different ERA of hockey than Jovo is really really... well.. WRONG.
