Both, the last couple of games we've been playing ungodly well, and of course we all know the Pens suck.

Columbus is just hammering the Pens, both on the scoresheet and in the fisticuffs

This free Centre Ice preview is making me want to order the whole package more and more

I think we've shown the Pittsburg arena people a good time so far.

(except the fact that their team is getting blown out)

The Pens just stink. With Nash or without, the BJ's have beaten exactly 1 team with a winning record in the past month, including tonight.

They might be turning the corner, but they haven't yet shown it against average teams.

LOL, just messing with you BJ's fans.

I think pittsburgh is laying down on their coach. But hey I'll take it. I wouldnt be suprised if pitss coach didnt come out for the 3rd.

How about Balastik, 2 goals. I say he going to stick around the team for awhile. His shot is wicked sweet. Very quick.

And Nash and his passing. where is this coming from. Doesnt Nash know he cant pass?

Hahaha...

From now on whenever I see Crosby get near the puck I'm going to point to the penalty box and say "Get your *** in the box!".

Seriously though, he needs to stop taking these dumb penalties.

Wow, this game is so freakin sweet! Goals, fights, kickin some pittsburgh ***! I never realized how much of a little punk Sidney Crosby is. If he's gonna run around hittin people, holding, and running his mouth, why doesn't he throw down with someone? He is the biggest punk I've ever seen. He expects do be able to do whatever he wants and someone else will come stick up for him. I really had no problem with him before, but now he is one of my most hated players. He's nothin but a little punk. Someone needs to lay a shoulder into him and teach him a lesson. Someone will get a hold of him sooner or later, and I can't wait.

Nash and zherdev in the penelty box is an interesting image.

And how about Z yelling at Sid. What the hell could Z of been saying?

danm shame Brule didnt play tonight. Brule would be all up in it tonight.

And I need to point something out. 2 weeks ago I complained about GG starting our 3rd line at the start of the game. Had we done that this game, would we of won? If we had the 3rd line starting the first shift, the tone nash set early with his goal wouldnt of happened. We would of started the game chasing.

Indeed, He's not only a punk, diving, whining, *****, but he's also overrated and just downright annoying. Sick of this "I'm better than you" attitude that he has.

Who?
I'm just quoting myself... This is the BEST GDT I've ever had.

1) That "somebody" turned out to be Balastik... my BOIIIII
2) A loss at the hands of Pittsburgh would've been absolutely embarassing, since Columbus essentially rocked them right out of Cowtown. Pittsburgh stinks, but it's not embarassing to lose to Columbus anymore, just ask Phoenix. IMO This is a brand new team

That was an awesome game. Good to see everyone putting some heart out there.

Foley, dude your days of the 98lb weaking are done.

No! Foley said 7 goals and the avi comes down. Not 6, he said 7.

DKB is right; I needed seven for my avatar to bite the dust. s3por2d needed six, so he's free. Wonder what jacketracket's criteria was....

Look what Gallant finally found in his bag of tricks. He needs to press it more often....

If I understood Foley correctly, he needed another goal to be rid of the weakling. I, however, am done. I think I need some time away from avatars. That 98-pounder scarred me.

Bum is probably near suicidal since we didn't use either of our usual PP lines with a 5 goal lead in the third. Where is our killer instinct? Why this "system" of going into a shell? Where are my car keys?

Great game. I loved all of it. Suchy and Klesla were BIG pimping. Lyle was tossed. Therien was right. Nash opened big. The fourth line generated chances. Shelley took care of Roy by being the second fight on the ice and we didn't need to worry about him trying to cause trouble all night. Vybes notched one. Balastik showed that wrister in all it's glory. Sergei looked great. Nash got an assist by accident (it couldn't be intentional, right?). Zherdev roughed someone up (so it was just Sid - but still!). Chimera proved there is a such thing as voodoo and someone is using it against him.

When the dman from the Pens ran his own netminder I was asked if this was Happy Gilmore. That play about sums it up for them out there. I ALMOST felt bad for them.

A good night for hockey in Columbus.

Six Goals, WOW.

The offense overall looked great. We need a couple games like this to have confidence.

-Balastik's wrister is deadly (Put this guy into a serious power skating program in the offseason and watchout)

-Hainsey kicked some booty, very very surprising and welcomed

-Fedorov is starting to come alive

-FOOTE Did Not Play

-Leclaire was solid

-WE DIDN'T SIT ON A LEAD. We scored more and more until the other team cried, that was awesome.

-Hopefully we escaped injury after all the tussles.

-We Completely outclassed a NHL team in every part of the game. WOW.

Keep in mind...

The Pens were 3-0-2 last week under Therrien and playing VERY good hockey against good teams.

Goalie Dany Sabourin was called up after going 15-1 in the AHL. He had a very shaky start giving up 4 goals in the first 22 minutes, setting the tone for this game.

I don't know what team was on the ice tonight, but it wasn't the Pens from last week.

They are hurting right now.

If I remember right in their 5th year the Preds were decimated by injury and turned it on in the end to make a playoff push. Even though they didn't make it they started to believe in themselves.

If we keep up this pace, we are right on track with the most enviable expansion brethren.

Oh and OT, i'm sporting a hastily-fashioned avy.

I'll be honest, I about ate my paper when I saw his mug all over it. I'm tired of seeing his mug.

Oh and I'm an Ovechkin supporter!

i was glad we kinda shut nash and the top lines down in the final 10 minutes. I wanted to score more, but the proper coaching descion was to sit on it and not risk injury.

I think we're too far out of it...

We're going to have to win atleast 30 of 40 to earn the 90 points which would've been the goal for a playoff team in a season.

Like I said before... Right now things are weighed on if we can match or best our single-season record set in year one
