I don't care how much you dislike the Dolans or Sather, it was classless to boo them during Messier's speech. Tonight is about Mark Messier and no-one has a right to bring something negative to his night. Don't think that Messier didn't notice it, either -- he was going to say Glenn Sather's name, but he paused, so that Slats wouldn't get mixed up in the boos. I think the crowd understood when Messier described what he credits Slats for -- that's why they cheered.
If nothing else, the crowd should be cordial. The rest of the time, they've been tremendous, though.

Yeah but it sounded like u thought he wasn't gonna be a winner. And Even if Lundqvist hadn't seen it he would still be a winner. HE is born a winner. Look at him when he lets one behind him, The anger of just letting one goal behind. Even if it would be a 5-1 game and 10 minutes left he would be furious. Thats a born winner. And apart from that he is a real good stopper.
