Prospects stats posted

The first stats update of the year. It's early and there a couple guys' stats missing, but at least it shows where everyone is playing.

Oh, I almost forgot, honorary team prospect Steve Hartley, Bob's son. He was at prospect camp this year tending goal. Steve's a freshman at Miami of Ohio. So far he's played 4 games, and is 0-4-0 with a .878 SPCT and 2.79 GAA.

Hmm...doesn't look like Coburn's gotten off to the best start this year. Does anyone know anything about how he's looked?

Don't take this the wrong way, La-La-Laprise, but why does your team suck so bad right now? All the youth?

... and what's wrong with Boutin? He looked great in lightning camp.

Thanks in advance.

13 rookies will do that to a team

We do suck dont get me wrong. But we are fun to watch. Also our early season sked was horrible. All our games for the most part were againts top teams. CB twice, RN twice, Gat twice. All are in the top 6 of CHL top 10.

Boutin was shelled in his first two starts. He started agianst powerhouse Rimouski, who averge 5.5 goals per game, and Boutin allowed 2 on 30 shots. Bouts is a very streaky goalie, he needs to gain some consistancy. Which will come with time.

Sharrow has played over 35 mins a game, and he is playign AMAZING defensivly.

Still putting up above a ppg with young inexpierenced forwards and dmen.

Sharrow - 1 goal 1 assists last night. Keeps rolling.

10 games
4 goals
8 assists
12 points

Last year he only got 2 goals and 14 assists in 70 games. He has already doubled the goals.

Down in the ECHL Aquino and Nielsen scored, and Flache had 2 assists against Augusta. Garnett gets the win.

Not only did Nielsen score, but he scored the Chipotle Goal in a Minute goal, landing everyone in attendance a free burrito at said restaurant. Huzzah!

I'm surprised no one has been talking about Jim Slater on these boards. He just had a 5 point night in a 7-3 win over Western Michigan. So far thus season he has 6 GP 7 G 4 A 11 PTS. As much as I hate MSU, he surely has improved since I have seen him in his freshman year. He just continues to round out his game. He definetly out shined fellow Atlanta prospect Pat Dwyer this weekend. After a stellar freshman year season, he certainly has dipped under the radar (Dwyer that is).

Not the best news, but since i mention the good stuff might as well mention the bad.

Jimmy Sharrow last night got a 5 minute major for spearing and then was given a match penalty for shooting the puck at the ref.

Jeez, that oughta warrant a nice, long suspension.

We were getting killed (like usual) and Jimmy just had a melt down.

The match penalty is an automatic 1 game suspension and an automatic review.

From what i heard he didnt whip the puck at the ref, just shot it at him. Still either way, wasnt the best thing to do.

Erack82: Yeah and Slater was just named CCHA Offensive Player of the Week too.

Sharrow was given a 5 game suspension for shooting the puck at the Ref.

He has served 2 games of the 5 if people are wondering why he isnt playing.
