People are "going nuts" because you made a really obnoxious post and dragged a certain player (who I'm not going to name here) into the thread for no reason.

Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Shanahan all have four points tonight.

I think SectionX was mocking your thread.

The Flyers look like a team finishing up an 11 game road trip (tied for longest in NHL history).

Ovechkin > Crosby, just to get this out of the way.

So is this a legit thread or troll bait?

I'll assume the former and discuss Zetterberg anyhow.

He has been the Wings best player all season. He skates hard, grinds and fights for the puck, kills penalties and is used in every situation. He's not as talented as say Pavel Datsyuk is, but he does so many other things.

Like the Redwings broadcast mentioned, there are many nights when Zetterberg just controls the game at both ends of the rink, but ends up without points. Tonight, he gets rewarded for all his hard work (couple of tap-ins off of awesome feeds by Datsyuk)

Zetterberg will be the future captain of the Redwings.

Another thing I love about Zetterberg's game is his constant play, he has produced in most of the games he played, this shows that he plays his heart out every night.

Not as long as Nicklas Lidstrom is alive and playing (in a Wings uni that is, but I don't see why he wouldn't).

The Flyers "road trip" is so overrated. They stopped at home like 3 times and travelled to places very close to Philly more than a few times.

they still played 11 games that count in opposing buildings. its a lot harder to play on the road as opposed to in your own building.

I said future, not next

Assuming Zetterberg stays with Detroit, I'm pretty sure Nick will retire before him

I'd take the Flyers Road Trip over a Canuck 6 game trip too.

To be fair, Philly did seem to run out of gas in the 3rd period. They did have chances in the 1st though with all the power plays they had.
