UFA's still available

Teams have had the chance to evaluate their lines so far, who would be interested in the following UFA's?

Steve Thomas - Vancouver? Ottawa?
Adam Oates - Detroit? St. Louis? Columbus?
Cliff Ronning - NJ? Minnesota? Atlanta?
Espen Knutsen - Minnesota? (He was released, right?)
Jonas Hoglund - Boston (who was going to trade for Wanvig once)?
Claude Lemieux - Anaheim? Colorado? Tampa Bay?
Jyrki Lumme - Vancouver?
Oleg Tverdovsky - Phoenix? San Jose? Colorado?

Who else is/could be available right now and where do you think they'll end up? Thanks in adv !

Anaheim would not be interested in Clod

they might of been interested in Oates and Thomas
but Oates wanted too much and Thomas didn't want the role that the team offered him

Tverdovsky will no doubt stay in Europe

Adam Graves is, but I don't know who would be interested in him though.

As a Habs fan, i can't imagine that Montreal would have any interest in those UFA's...

Even though I'm not sure where he'd fit (get rid of Devereaux maybe), it would be neat to see Oates reunited with Hull.

Knutsen is still with the Jackets. He's currently out nursing an injury.

That's right, wow, I thought a team like the Isles would jump all over this guy. He's a rock. I forgot about him. As for Berard, I'm not sure he'll stay in the East. He would be great in Philly, IMO.

How about Phil Housley? Philly?

Last thing the Flyers need is a defenseman. Desjardins, Weinrich, Pitkanen, Ragnarsson, Johnsson, Vandermeer, Therien (healthy scratch), Seidenberg (in AHL), Woywitka (in AHL).

Yeah, I guess so. Looks like Therien should be moved. ESPN's EJ Hradek reported he's be moved before the month (October) was over.

Last thing the Canucks need is Lumme..

Jovo
Ohlund
Salo
Malik
Sopel
Allen
Slegr

Where would he fit in? Plus he's not even better than some of the guys in the farm. If he can't cut it on the Maple Leafs blueline, than he'd be in tough to make it on our farm teams blueline.

If Skoula continues to blow, I expect the Avs to get a defenseman

Why don't the Isles pick up Yushkevich and then trade a D-man for some offensive help? While Yush might not be a top 3, I think he is a Top 4 and would cushion the drop off defensively.

Thomas is 40 isn't he? Doubt he would fit into Ottawa's speedy offence(won't keep up). As for Vancouver, they have enough bottom 6 grinders. Would Minny look at him since Gaborik and Dupuis are holding out.
Oates could work in Detroit. Datsyuk is doing pretty well filling in for Federov, but he's not Federov yet. Besides, the Wings are in his age group.
Ronning hasn't been resigned by Minny. His agent says he's still looking for teams. It'll likely be another week or two before offers come calling.
Hoglund is going nowhere. He might get a tryout for like 300k or something, but he's signed in Europe. If he plays a certain number of games he won't be eligible to play in the NHL(at least I think so...can someone confirm?)
Lemieux will be a playoff addition. If he doesn't sign soon, he'll probably be added around March.
Lumme's washed up. Going nowhere.
Hasn't Tverdovsky played too many games in Europe to play in the NHL for this season?

I'm surprised Yushkevich hasn't been snapped up. Perhaps his health problems are holding back teams?
