Help me Rangers fans! With Proocha

Hi guys!

I run an NHL mailbox on one Czech web site and people write me that fans in MSG are booing on Prucha after his goals. One fan is suggesting itīs not booing but people scream "Prooo..."

Is it really so ? Thanx!

Not at all Veela! Please tell you fans in the Czech Republic that Rangers fans cant get enough of Petr Prucha and that you are correct they are yelling "Prooo".

Well sure, I thought it might be misunderstanding. The fan that suggests it is "boo" could have seen a game where was some dirty stuff behind the play when Prucha scored and people actually booed on opponentīs play.

Anyway, I watched Petr since his junior team won a title here in Czech. Every time he stepped up in his carrer he didnīt fail and always displayed his speed, relentness and energy. Junior, senior hockey, national team and now NHL.

On senior level he played in Pardubice on fourth line, but it was the best fourth line Iīve ever seen. The Prucha line always brought so much energy and havoc. When the team was down, coach ordered them to play and they always did something. Usually you donīt ask your 4th line to turn the game over, but they often did.

Kind of like the 4th HMO line the Rangers have...

I went to the Florida game last Saturday and I sat next to a kid and he said that some fans have been howling after Prucha scores.
I asked him why and he said that some people up in the blue seats have nick-named him Peter "The Wolf" Prucha.
I told him that I wasn't sure if I understood what he meant...he reminded me of the old fable and also said "look at him, he looks and plays like a wolf". I didn't notice he resembled a wolf until I looked at his face. Kind of angular, and the hair does it for him...I guess.
Anyway, take it for what it worth but it sounded like howling to me, lol.
Let's hear it for Peter "The Wolf" Pruuuuuucha!
