Patrick Roy's record vs. Philly

I can remember back in '97 or so and looking up Patrick Roy's stats and seeing how BAD of a record he had vs. Philadelphia. It was just down right rotten, like Andre Racicot rotten. Does anyone know his record for his career against Philly? Could anyone look it up? I dont know why it was so bad, maybe he just didnt like the colour orange? But it makes you wonder how the greatest goalie of all time was so bad against one team.

Maybe it improved since 1997? There should have been a few COL vs PHI games since then, maybe there's the difference.

The game log at http://hockeygoalies.org/bio/roy.html shows him as 6-1-2 against Philly since 96-97, so that would make him 1-9-3 through 96-97, if Yahoo has it right.

These numbers are from past Flyers' guides that I have:

Regular Season Stats Games Minutes W-L-T GAA

From the 1993-94 book 12 725 0-6-6 3.31

From the 1994-95 book 15 838 1-6-6 3.65

Stats from the 1993-94 Flyers-Habs season series (Flyers won it 2-1-1): Roy 3 games, 113 minutes, 5.84 GAA but a 1-0-0 record. His first win ever against the Flyers in the regular season came on 1/30/94 in a 5-4 Montreal home OT win. Earlier that season, the Flyers beat Montreal 9-2 Racicot/Soderstrom decisions. In Game 3 that season, Flyers beat Montreal 8-7 with Roussel/Tugnutt decisions.

From the 1997-98 book: 22 1220 1-11-8 4.03

From the 1998-99 book: 24 1340 3-11-8 3.81

From the 2000-01 book: 27 1525 5-11-9 3.66

From the 2002-03 book: 30 1710 6-12-10 3.54

From the 2003-04 book: 31 1770 7-12-10 3.46

And then I think of the 4 Stanley Cups and 3 Conn Smythe's and all my worries just melt away.

Not sure how many of the games Roy played, but according to shrpsports Montreals record against Philadelphia from `85-`86 to `95-`96 was 7-20-10. Philly over Montreal was always a lock on Pro-Line that paid well back when Lindros was great.

Another statistical oddity involving the Flyers-Rangers, in the late 70's/early80's: Philly went 4-0-10 in a 14-game stretch at MSG during regular season play.

Didn't he also not play well (or at all possibly) against the Flyers in the 87 semi's?

Of course, he did beat them in the 89 semi's.
