Hope we'll meet someday, I'm flying to Edmonton on november 18 and I'll be at the Classic, maybe we could grab a few beers somewhere!
Unfortunately for me... the Heritage Classic is one of the two games I've been told that I should not expect to be given access too. With so much media from around the world expected to be there, the low guy on the totem pole (or "that Hockey's Future Guy" as they probably call me) gets last dibs. I'll have to find a TV next to some keg some where.
You know as GREAT as the experience of being in the crowd would be - I think I'd prefer to watch it on TV so you can actually see. People in the top bowl (or what ever it's called) won't see jack *****
I do hope a lot, that the whole game is broadcasted in Germany, but i don´t believe it.
If it will not be broadcasted in Germany, is it possible that someone could record that game for me ? (i´ll pay all the taxes, the tape, etc.)
I´ve learned to live with it, that i just able to see 2 Oilers Games per season (complete) - last year they broadcasted one game (Edmonton at Boston and the Bruins held the Oilers scoreless )
As a side note - MAB seems to think he's playing.
Either our 'inside info' on another thread is wrong, or nobody wants to tell the evil hobbit.
"It's going to be fun,'' said rookie defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron, who's either brave beyond his years or too green to recognize trouble when he sees it. "I've watched those guys since I was young. Now I have a chance to play against them.''
I plead temporary insanity. I was caught up in the mood of the article I had quoted, and rushed at the same time. Hence, I didn't choose my words very carefully. I was imagining the coaches going; "You tell him." - "No, you tell him."
I assure you all, my intentions were not to commit calumny. Sorry if my words did not reflect my meaning.
