purinton just has a broken finger, he can't shoot, but he can't shoot anyway so why not dress him?

this is why purinton should not be with the team and if sather had a clue we would have 7 d-men on this roster

before the lockout the rangers had 8 d-men on their roster at almost any given time, you can afford to be short a foward, you cannot afford to be short a d-man

Clips of Weekes helping Kaspar and standing in the tunnel high-fiving everyone on a game he's not starting just reinforces he is a good team player and a good backup. If only he could stop a puck.

Who gets more ice time with Kaspar out? I would hope it is Tyutin, who not only has the youthful legs to handle it, but has also been in my opinion the Rangers best defenseman of late. Should be a good test for our boy.

this is a bad sign. Sather should have never wasted a roster spot on Dale so he could see the Messier night. This is a prime example as why the Ranger need to move away from the Messier connection to this team, Pock should be up and ready to step in. And how bad has Hossa Fallen if Orr is playing vs the Wings not Hossa

That's why Weeks should not be moved.

Going to be fun if Jagr continues to be allowed to walk in front like that.

man, watching this reminds me how much I hate it when networks do hockey. The anouncers always feel the need to give us hockey 101 for idiots.

Doesn't look like the good guys are going to have much success today skating the puck into the Wings zone. Dump the puck!

He was a player that lasted played with Mess and was recalled on Thurs to be at the Retirement and skated with the team to end the last of the 10 games today. He can't play with a broken finger for 6 weeks so he was recalled for what reason?

It's Pierre Maguire. He's in-between the two benches.
