Last ones?

Date Team Transfers To Team Transfers
January 10 LDN Karel Kudat 6th Rnd '07 OSH David Halasz
Janaury 10 SAR Mathis Olimb Mark Versteeg-Lytwyn SBY 4th Rnd '07
January 10 PBO OS's 7th Rnd '06 4th Rnd '07 GUE Lubomir Stach

The media notes on the OHL site is usually reasonably up to date

Not sure who Kudat is. Halasz is a 200 lb defenseman who I really expect is Rediker insurance

Olimb stayed in Norway instead of reporting to Sarnia, and was on the Norway WJC team. Lytwyn for a 4th rounder

Stach to PBO for picks

Correct

He apparently will be game worthy in 2 weeks

I think Kudat was the other import draft and might have played preseason (really do not recall)

Sudbury made some moves. Can't really say anything earth shaking, but perhaps the sum of the moves may make a difference.

On the whole a pretty uneventful deadline. I think the "sellers" may have asked for too much.

Halasz will be a great add to the roster. Desperate need for defence, I guess Halasz was their only option. Either that or trade away some big guns.
And by the way, its Kubat, not Kudat.

Yep

You are correct it is Kubat.

He is a Left Def guy. My stats sheets for pre-season show that he got no points at the home games (road?). The knights home page shows no games played by him in the reg season.
