Gainey said that Souray and Theodore are key players to the team but should be playing much better than they have...

and he said that while Markov has played well, he expects more out of him to play even better

and for the following comment:

you and fans like you showcase how stupid some of our fans are. a bad stretch, a poor game, etc. etc., no matter who the player is, and some Hab fans are all over the player... it's pathetic

I hope we win 1-0 and Theo stops 40 shots and gets his confidence back. That is what a real Habs Fan would say, not all you wannabees!

i'd rather we score more than 1 goal, lol... but if Theodore shows us what he's really made of in his next start, expect a lot of doubters to pull a 180, again

Whats wrong with that?

Look, everyone knows hes a good goalie.

But when you dont put in the effort and play up to what you are capable of, it gets annoying.

If he plays good from now on, I don't see a problem..

Can we get Gainey to send clvmcs to Hamilton?? Is there a clause for that in the new CBA?

The coach just got fired, for the habs its like the beggening of a new sesone so you start your number 1 goalie, personaly I think its the right moved, even tho Huet did more then I expected. Its time too start again!

Anyone who hopes the Habs lose, EVER, is not a Habs fan.

I hope Theo plays well for the sake of the team but I wantt o know how many chances is he going to get. bad game aftert bad game and still he is thought of as an elite goaltender. Huet only played 6 or so games and in no way is he elite but at least he is hot now.

I agree that if we must keep Theo he has to play. Based on his huge contract he can't be warming the bench. Also his trade value may be too low now to get anything good in return. So yah we are most likely stuck with him. However, I just wish people will just forget his Vezina season and look at him as he is now...just an average goalie.

Either way, I hope his play does improve and for the sake of the Habs...Go Theo Go!

Go Habs Go!

Well, if Theo regains confidence and plays well, it'll only be better for us this year and raise his value for a blockbuster trade in the off-season

I for one still think Theodore is being shopped....Hopefully with Luongo rejecting that 30 million $ contract Montreal could swing a deal for him. I would only trade Theodore if Montreal could get a solid goalie. Maybe Ribeiro and Theodore to Folrida for Luongo......I wish LOL

Also...if Theo continues winning (like vs Sharks) and Ribs continues to get points (also like vs Sharks) then we might also be able to get a 2nd rounder along with Luongo for Theo and Ribs...NOTE: if Ribs ends up in Florida he will probably beg Keenan to get Dagenais for him!!!

he had a shaky 1st, he was good on the 5 vs 3 but Rivet and Bouillon made his job easier the rest of the night

I don't find he had a shaky first at all. He didn't give any big rebounds tonight and was sound positionally.
The puck on the first goal was redirected back to a different player so he had to readjust his position at the last second (and Koivu should have been covering him). It wasn't a goal he had no chance of saving but by no means was it a weak goal. If Theo played like that every night, I wouldn't complain.
