Penalty on the Bruins.......Gill for holding?

Man there have been some wicked chances by both teams......Kariya just missed the net, Sakic hit the post, Donato missed, McCarthy missed

the guys gotta stop these cheap penalties. The law of averages will catch up with us.

Man , can these Avs fly...they look like the 70's Habs out there.

Bruins need to slow the pace....

Another strong period by Bergeron. He now leads all rookies in points. Such a smart/mature player at the ripe age of 18.

Hopefully the Bruins can keep up this tempo in the 2nd.

Go Bruins!!!!!

I am hoping beyond hope that Jillson and Bergeron keep this up. That'd rock.

If this was 1985 circa goalie equipment, this game would have a chance to end with both teams in double figures. Its like watching the Dallas Mavericks vs the Sacramento Kings. Bergeron made one sweet pass earlier to Rolston that was stopped but again looks solid. (would MOC deal him tomorrow if Bob Gainey called offering Komosarik?- yah, right; hows the AHL food big guy) Mizral pointed out Jillson looked shakey but to me he looked pretty damn good overall- these Avs can make anyone look bad and I was watching Jovo have a few rough shifts himself- so I guess maybe its allowed?

Potvin was lucky on a couple of shots hitting posts but Abischer had atleast 2 or 3 hit him he didn't see. This game should be 3-3 right now. If the Broons take penalties they are done because you'll be seeing alot of 3-7 pp stats with the Avs this year. The one thing is all there star forwards but Hejduk are on the back 9- although specifically Sakic and Forsberg they are still two of the best 10 forwards in the league, still on their games and first ballot HOF. Forsberg is awesome....love the guy. How'd the Lindros deal work out there? Did Clarke make that deal?

what a fun period to watch. 4th line continues to look good. on d, i'll be surprised if moran is in the starting six come april.

even though the bruins got out of the gate 19-4 last year, this bruins team is WAY better and much more fun to watch. gotta get murray going.

. . . and the Otter Creek Copper Ale's are a fine Vermont Microbrew.

Just listening on NHL Radio the Avs broadcasters are raving how well the Bruins are playing and how impressed they are with the Bruins. Are they really taking it up a notch tonight or what?

Good to hear though.

Impressive in the faceoff circles and settling down in fron of their own net. These last two odd wins may have brought this team together. They look solid every where except center ice, kind of sloppy in the middle. Overall a nice start. This season could be a lot of fun!

According to experts he:

"Gets his team *pumped* up"

"His fighting deters cheap shots"

"The guys like him"

"Hustles....true Bruin"

and finally "He gets his team *pumped* up"

Stock is a great guy, but in todays NHL you have to do more than that to keep your place on a team that wants to be competitive.

exactly, he has one dimension. He does bring those intangibles you mentioned but so many before him have also,(Oreilly,Nilan) but they managed to improve their game.
