Bure - where does he fit?

How is Bure's recovery coming? Any timeline for his return?

Also, where will he fit when he's back, and how much of an impact will he make? IMO, this guy could thrive in the "new NHL".

No one really know how his recovery is going, and the only thing we know is that he'll be gone til at least after the Olympic break.

He'll probably be used in a second-line capacity, and we're hoping that, as you say, his speed will make him a huge asset, and he will give the team a boost for the stretch.

He had surgery on Dec 9th, with an expected recovery period of 8 weeks. The Olympics are from Feb 10th to the 26th. He should be more than healed by the time that they're over, so it's possible that he could play the 1st game after the break.

I, too, hope that he thrives under the new rules, but even anything would be an improvement for this team. As long as he can just chip in a goal here and there, it'll be more than Luc and a boost, depth-wise.
