Question: TicketsNow will not let me sell my preseason tickets for less than $66. Yet, I can't print out a PDF for StubHub until 72 hours prior to game time. How are you guys setting your prices for the preseason? Thanks in advance.

Where are your seats? There is probably a price floor that is a percentage of your face on TicketsNow.
They are a part of Ticketmaster and will take care of the transfer automatically for you. This is all to discourage you from selling on StubHub.

You can upload at a later date for Stubhub listings. So, if you list and they sell today, you get a reminder during that 72 hour window to upload the PDF for the buyer to download. Pretty simple and easy.

Listing through Ticketmaster is the most convenient, but some of its fees are ridiculous and are off-putting to both buyer and seller.

What's everyone thinking will be the top 5 in demand games for the season? Every year I think home opener is one of them and it's always a flop compared to stuff second half of the season

1. Home opener since it's the Isles as well.
2. Isles in March.
3. Sunday Caps in February.
4. Friday in March v. Pens
5. Wednesday before Thanksgiving v. Pens

Just those 5 off the top of my head. Some other games may jump ahead like the Wild on the Friday before Christmas or Hurricanes Saturday afternoon in December

Well now I know there even is a presale. Don't worry, the ultra top secret classified access code is going to be something like "HOCKEY" or "RANGERS16"

The girlfriend and I are going to New York!

We'll be in town from the 3rd to the 12th of April; I'm looking to get tickets for the Oilers game on the 5th of November. How would you go about it? It seems they're not on sale yet on the official website, while other websites have them up, with prices?

Your best bet is to buy them from someone here.
Your other options are StubHub or Rangers Ticket Exchange.

Were you able to see any more than the range? I can't believe the cheapest seat is $152.

Well if $152 is the cheapest, it's for the obstructed 400s. Which means you're looking at $170-180 for a full view seat and that's before the $20-25 per ticket Ticketmaster charges too.

Yup... If you click on a random game, the price drops to $56.

This is kind of confusing. You're going to be in NYC in April but looking at a game in Nov. Did you mean to say you're in town in November? The Rangers play Edmonton on Nov 3 but are in Boston on the 5th. The Islanders are hosting Edmonton on the 5th so assuming you're actually arriving on Nov 3, want to see Edmonton in particular and you're willing to actually watch the Islanders, that may be your best bet. If you're not concerned about the opponent, the Rangers also play the Jets and Canucks during your stay (again, assuming you meant November). And if you arrive early enough on Nov 3 you may be able to see the the Rangers and Edmonton but I'm not sure I'd recommend it.

If you're actually in town in April on those dates, only the last game of the season against the Pens (April 9) fits those dates. And that might be pricey.

What is going on with the Chase presale right now? It's asking for an offer code to purchase tickets but I can't find any info on the code.

Vividseats allows delivery by account transfer now, so the Rangers don't want anybody getting e-tickets before they open up sales on ticketmaster

I actually did somewhat well, in my opinion, with the presales. Got a bunch of random games I wanted in the 400s where I like to sit and was able to pay about $91 per seat after fees. As long as I can keep a pair under $200 and don't have to deal with the bridge obstruction I'm generally satisfied.

I sat in the 400s a few times and if you're in the back rows, you can't really see that well.

no you can transfer any time you want as soon as they activate in a few days for the regular season. You can transfer preseason already
