OT: Ballhockey in Montreal in winter? AND looking for players for Concordia summer lg

I just moved back to town and am looking for somewhere to play ballhockey. I found one YMCA that has a pickup on Sundays and a cosom hockey league, but that's it so far. Any help appreciated.

Also, I'm looking for solid players to start a summer team in the Concordia league. The team needs to register by mid-April.

That's a good league. I played in it for a few games last time I was in town for 6 months. Good guys too.

cant we just form our own league? i dont wanna join some other league, i want us to form some kind of super HF boards league or something...

the westmount YMCA has ball hockey on Wednesday nights from 8:00 to 10:00

Not necessarily. You kinda judge by the caliber of youre team. You cant join the A cause thats a league on its own, they basically pick those players. B is Ultra competitive and has some great players.

Youre best bet is to join the C or D. The C has good caliber hockey, depending which evening you chose. You dont wanna have a weak team or you will get spanked every night. Some good teams in the D, but for the most part the D is for teams that wanna win, but win with their friends. Also probably the roughest league with the most fights, cause many guys arent great hockey players, so instead they get rough.

New season starts around may-june. Its worth it if you really enjoy playing.
