I said it in the last PGT, but I think he'll be my new favourite player soon. Just love his game and hustle, he's a hybrid of a few players I can't quite put my finger on.

So happy he scored, at least the demotion didn't phase him. I think he will be a solid player for us going forward.

I'm not scouting expert but Lehkonen has "it", and it was obvious since we drafted him. Only injuries and Therrien can hold back a player like this.

He's a solid NHLer. I like him. But how much offense does he have? How many points will he put up?

In the current NHL enviornment I can see him as a 25/25 two way guy sooner rather than later if he keeps playing like this, maybe more points depending on his linemates.

With that shot he has 30 goal upside.

I agree. He was my choice to go in the shootout in place of you know who.

Finnish players are so well groomed in the 200 foot game. Lehkonen is only 21 and plays so well in all 3 zones. I would describe him as a complete player.

Congrats on his first NHL goal

Unfortunately , i dont think hes 100% aware that hes playing for the worst coach he will ever have in his life, he will soon find out if he hasnt already

I was glad he scores today. I was hype for this season after not watching a lot of hockey last season and the one before that. Just 2 games in and Therrien's face and line comp already bores me to death.

That would be quite something. I hope it happens. It certainly would make up for the De La Rose and Fucale picks earlier in the second round that year.

Lehkonen became NHL ready because he was developed in Europe by people who knew what they were doing. I honestly doubt he is in the NHL today had he played the last 2 years for Sylvain Lefebvre.

Oh there is a lot wrong but perhaps he can develop into an NHL goalie. I have serious doubts.

If Fucale develops into anything more than a third string goalie I would be shocked.

He's a bit like Marchand without the nose and classlessness.

Yea it's too bad Lefebvre has ruined everyone who plays for him. Too bad Beaulieu, Carr, Pateryn, McCarron, etc. are all busts that will never play in the NHL.

I have no clue why rather than demoting him, MT couldn't have at least tried him with Chucky and Gally instead of Byron.

He looks like a bigger version of Gallagher.

congrats on the 1st NHL goal...from the 4th line. Seems like so many Habs rookies score on that line

I like even more the fact he's already got 7 shots -almost twice as much as anyone else on the team- through 2 games while averaging only 11mins at ES and no PP.

Impressive.
