The funny thing is, Belfour actually played pretty damn good. That defense they have is terrible.

Maple Leaf fans still think that they own the Senators, based on playoff series that happened years ago.

Somebody should tell them that De-Nial isn't just a river in Egypt.

Well...I'll be perfectly honest and say that I'd still be a bit worried if the Sens were to meet the Leafs in a playoff series. There's something about getting beat out 4 times in the playoffs by the same team that sticks with you... That being said, I already know that the Sens are a different team this year etc, so there's no need to quote me and point out all of the differences. I just don't think it's a good thing to get overly cocky.

Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the pwnage tonight. And I certainly hope for a repeat on Monday.

Don't get too excited about beating up on the Leafs. They're not anywhere near the team they were 3 years ago.

They couldn't even win an intersquad game.

I think at this point there are very, very few such Leaf fans.

I agree, just because a few open their mouth and brag about the past doesn't mean we all do. Its a whole new ball game every year.

Don't underestimate how diluted some of these people are. I love how many of them say how they have "the most fans all over the place, who cheer the loudest etc.....". I'll tell ya, I do feel sorry for their "hardcore", loyal fans because they have soooooo many people jumping off and on the ol' bandwagon. And I'll tell you, there's a lot of THUD'S going on right now and that's the fans jumping off the bandwagon.

I love how cole/neale sound so excited when Toronto does anything and sound so bitter and dissapointed when Toronto gets creamed again. Gotta love the "non-biased" announced on a national station.

And now he's inventing new rules. Ottawa dumps the puck in on a delayed offside and it goes off a Toronto defenders stick into the mesh. What does Cole say? "The Ottawa player didn't wait quite long enough there. That's an offside call." Uhmm... NO. Even if he missed where the puck went, he should be able to keep the rules straight and figure it out.

Neale and Cole are ****ing prehistoric so is CBC and their love for the Maple Leafs. Leafs management is complete and utter **** and the Leafs are a retirement home.

Cole is a habs fan, thanks for coming out though.
Neale does CC for every leaf game, would be hard not to be sort of a fan dont you think?

Basically I know theyre bias, and CBC has a bias towards the leafs obviously, but I say let them? Who cares if CBC loves the Leafs and Cole and Neale always sound so bitter after a big leafs loss, doesn't it kinda make it more fun to watch that way? I have no problems with the Sens not being CBC's love child, and actually would rather have it that way.

I thought CBC did a decent job bowing down to the Senators when they had that massively entertaining montage after the game, before Don Cherry, which started with a Sens logo on a red flag background and then all 7 goals....

Although I doubt if there were many leafs fans that were still tuned in to get that rubbed into their faces...

You're just as out of touch as Cole is.

Lots of people tell tall tales and Cole is one of them. He may actually be a Habs fan, but he's unquestionably a Leaf fan first.

I love how Don Cherry was commenting on how much he "loves" Mike Fisher -- "He's not small ... 5'10 something .. he also has beautiful eyes."

The game was pretty much what I was expecting. I'm too polite to gloat publicly when they're all are all hurting like this, but certain fans deserve some payback. Hopefully we don't get overconfident. I want blood.

Yeah, I agree. I am sorry, but I am not going to take the Leafs lightly until they are out of the playoffs. As long as they have any possible hope of recovery I won't be content to let them go. The teams are different, but so were the 4 teams that got beat by the Leafs. I am not even going to say that I think we will win. We have to win and we have to beat them in every concievable way. That is what I think.
