I'm really not too worried. I blame managemen/injuries and the entire team

Ehlers on another team would tear it up
Blame management? For what? Maurice makes the lineup, not Chevy and co.

I'm not sure he's trying harder than everyone else, this team doesn't have an effort problem. It does seem he might be trying too hard at times and is forcing things.

His points will come, I'd like to see him look to shoot more, there have been numerous times he has been in great position but doesn't even try to sell a shot, only looks pass the whole way.

I must be off because I have no problem with how Nik is playing? The points will come he is a dynamic player that will tinker and make adjustments. I like his game allot.

IMO this is our #1 line of the future. It has all of the ingredients to be something special.

I think Ehlers game is a natural fit for Laine. His speed opens up space and he can make plays at high speed with great vision. A guy who can find open space with an elite shot can certainly take advantage of that type of line-mate.

And they just started playing together, I think Ehlers is exactly what Laine needs and vice versa, Ehlers have good chemistry with Scheif too, a good chance it becomes one hell of a line

Agreed. I've been advocating for awhile now, that ultimately we will see a long term line of Laine-Scheif-Ehlers. And when healthy the top 6 will be filled out by MP-Little-Wheeler. IMO this will give us our most effective top 6. That gives you a ton of talent in the bottom 6.

So....
Laine-Chef-Ehlers
MP-Little-Wheels
Connor-Petan-Dano
Mathias-Lowry-Armia

With Copp and Tanev in the PB and Burmi and Stafford shot to the moon before the trade deadline?

Still leaves DeLeo, Kossy and Howden as call ups with NHL experience and some guy named Roslovic who is doing pretty good.

Oh yeah Ehlers thread. You're the best Ehlers, you are the wind beneath my wings. That is all.

Fun stuff, I make a post regarding Ehlers' not having enough SoG - and he makes 12 SoG next two games.

Then i make a post about his lack of multi point games, and he makes 4 points hours later.

Perhaps I should keep making posts with my critisism

Lol

Well, I was ok with how Nik played so far, just not happy about the missing pts, since I believed his play warranted it.

Funny thing is I don't even think yesterday was close to his best game this season. His play certainly didn't "feel" like a 4point night.

Hopefully this proves that everything evens out over time and that he will go close to ppg

Regardless of points I am still confident that he will go down as the best dane to ever play the game

Nik is on a 19 goal 57 point pace right now.

If you look at preseason expectation that is right about on the money. However, I think he could end the season much better than that.
