I'm sure its because Bflo is a ****** cab market. In Boston, medallions are $500K for cabs, and in London, they have a hackney UNION. If those two places can have uber, anywhere can.

I've only watched this season and Coven (which I did not care for). Thought this season started off really weak, but it's been better the last couple of episodes. Still not a fan of its whole style, but it's okay.

About to have a week straight of low 80s high 70s, with lows in the upper 50s. Need to take some vacation if I can get caught up a little bit.

The tears will be delicious if Cleveland can hold on and win tonight.

So apparently the correct response to being unhappy that your shift is shorter than normal, on a day that is notoriously slow is to say that you aren't coming in for it because it isn't worth your time. This after complaining about not having any money.

Makes total sense. Right?

Some people want to complain and be victims, not make their situations better.

Nobody goes to Cleveland because they want to win. They go there because they've made poor choices in their life.

Got my raise today. It will be reflected in my next paycheck. Unfortunately, we get paid once a month here, so that's Nov 30 (it was not reflected in today's paycheck).

It was enough to keep me around, but when my apartment lease is over in May, I'm going to have to search for other employment. Need to make enough money to afford my own place and that is not happening at this salary.

Anyways back to more fitting OT talk...should there be a Halloween? Just because something has happened in the past doesn't mean it has to continue indefinitely. We eat more than enough junk food as it is so no need for an extra occasion to sell and collect more junk. Or only stock junk food two weeks a year for this occasion then remove it from the shelves. Maybe not entirely my personal viewpoint but trying to steer the conversation to more fitting OT before we get yelled at.

I just spent 2+ hours scaring kids (after they grabbed candy from my wife) down the driveway. I was armed with a fog machine, scary music, strobe lights, and spooky ground effects. Not to mention a creepy outfit.

Damn I love Halloween.
