One of the best games I've ever seen. Kept me on the edge of my seat through each pitch. Also Theo Epstein is a God.

Sad day, now I can no longer make fun of the Cubs and their fans.

Well, there's longer anything interesting about the Cubs franchise. That was their main claim to fame.

Have you BEEN to a game in Wrigley Field?

Still the best stadium experience you'll ever have.

Stayed up to watch it. The cubs won in a very buffalo fashion. That's how I picture any potential championship win for us.

Congrats to them. That game was history.

Oh, no doubt. I meant for me as a casual fan, the "curse" was the most interesting thing about the Cubs.

Score on an early breakaway, blow a late three goal lead, jumbotron falls on the ice. Sabres score a goal in overtime and it stands after a high stick review and an offsides review.

The Cup Guys lose the key and can't get the trunk open, then North Korea takes over the country before the parade. Kim Jon Un wins the Cup and every historical Cup..

It's the greatest day in Buffalo history because '99 is scrubbed from the record books along with all four Super Bowls.

I guess that's what I get for continuously posting the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals on Twitter

Very upset the Tribe lost, but what a performance by them this year. Nobody expected them to make it to the World Series. If I had to choose one team to lose to in the NL, it would be the Cubs.

The only team I would have been content with the Cubs beating in the WS is the Red Sox.

As a Mets fan I have mixed emotions. On one hand I have to be glad for the Cubbies. On the other hand I know if we had won the wild card game we would've beaten them because we just had their number. And now Cespedes is leaving thanks to the Wilponzis (and probably to the Nats to boot) and it's back to another decade of losing baseball.

Agreed, and they fought hard to the last out. Hats off to the cubs.

I don't know, I think the New York Metro Area teams are pretty starved for a championship right now

I am beyond pumped for this movie Arrival. It's so nice to have a original concept, with no grandiose plans of a franchise. Not based on a book or a comic-book or a sequel or a remake.

It's at 100% on RT after 53 reviews. I really think part of it is that people are craving originality right now

I happened to be in Chicago last weekend with my midget team and saw the emotional roller coaster that the locals were on with this series. Folks flew in from everywhere to catch a game or two. Not just at the stadium but to be cheering with their buds and family for the Cubs.

Cubs gear everywhere. Street corner sales tents all over. Signs hung cheering the Cubs on. I know that's not unusual but all I could think was this is how it will be in Buffalo when the Sabres win the Cup.

And yes, I WILL be there too!!

Since Chicago has won countless sports championships over the years I find it hard to feel bad for them. I suppose there are some people who are only Cubs fans, so good for them. IMO if/when Buffalo gets a championship it will be 10x more epic.
