I don't know if a package with Koivu could bring habs Gaborik but I think it could be a good move for both team.

I'd offer anyone of my team...

Steen, McCabe ( signed long term ), 1st, 2nd for him.

Marian Gaborik is nowhere near good enough to justify this kind of deal. He's being really overrated here.

Can you imagine Gaborik in LA? I'm not sure if MG would get off the plane before getting hurt!

Havlat's a decent defensive player and tremendous offensive talent. Gaborik would also be playing in a more offensive system, and would be the 2nd liner so that he'll have less expectations foisted on him. He would also be able to play with fellow Slovaks Chara and Meszaros.

If Minny needed an extra incentive then Ottawa could toss in a 3rd or 4th round pick to even things out.

If Havlat is moved, I think it will be to dump salary so that they can re-sign Redden and Chara. Gaobirk makes about the same as Havlat, so I don't think that trade would happen.

Alot of these deals are too much, the one i came up with is probably to much if i think about it.

Id actually offer 1st + Olesz and if needed a roster player like Semenov. Could change Olesz with Stewart. Top prospect + top ten pick is about all id offer for Gabby.

Pothier is probably alot more valuable to other teams than he is to Ottawa, as in Ottawa he's the 6th d-man, whereas on a team like Minny he could probably be a 4th or 5th d-man.

anything is better than daniel tqarnvist
