Any one know if Gagne is going to be playing? He got roughed up a bit in Phoenix and was listed as day to day.

I'm not going to predict this one. Can't wait to see how the Flyers handle Cechmanek. If they were playing in Philly, I would predict a Flyers blowout.

Gagne is doubtful for tonight. Will be a game time decision, should be back Saturday at the latest.

Also out for the Flyers: Radovan Somik (knee)

The Flyers have fared very well in Los Angeles in recent years winning their last 3 in LA, and have a 37-20-8 record all-time in LA.

The Kings are really going to miss Norstom and Miller. Ken Hithcock also has a very good career record vs the Kings

Tight game, Cechmanek stands on his head and the Kings won't be missing their core players much, just like usual. Palffy scores the winner in a 2-1/3-2 game...

I have now idea who will win tonight but Kings probably are pretty angry with themselves after their last outing.... They will play with an extra effort tonight.

Flyers play well in L.A.

Flyers will come away with a 4-2 win.

Roenick, Primeau, Williams, Desjardins
Palfy, Modry

Should have a rematch of the great Fedoruk/Brennan fight from last year. Brennan was winning the fight, when Fedoruk then dropped him with one huge punch.

Bill McCreary has made all 4 penalty calls in this game and not one was legit.

There's been way too many calls. Amonte is going to get one that Cechmanek embellished, and pretty much the whole first period was a bunch of bad calls.

The Kings power play there was moving almost in slo-mo. Trent Klatt has been everywhere though. He's been looking like he has like he was when he was with the Flyers. Around the net, being a pest and not getting pushed around.

Avery & Lappy both declined to fight Vandermeer.

I didn't see it that way.... Lappy seemed to get Avery out of the way so he could have words with Vandermeer.

Avery left so Lappy could get in there, Lappy looked and Vandy was ready to go, but Lappy turned around. Vandermeer was defenitely looking to drop the gloves with someone.

Well the ref was near too, the chances of a fight being broken up were pretty good. But yes, if Avery didn't want to fight him, then I doubt Lappy did.

Resulting in a PP goal by Modry, LA up 2-0. Personally I thought the call was legit, but borderline.

Nice shot by Modry, but weak by Hackett.

Nice duck by the goaltender, to avoid getting hit by the puck.

That was the mistake Avery made when the Kings had the momentum vs. the Bruins...turned the tide of the game. Lapperriere made the right play. Looks like a wimp play, but if you're the Kings and have guys like Jason Holland and Martin Strbak and only two proven NHL-ers on your defense core, you can't let the FLyers grab any momentum, and so far the Flyers had none in this period.

And that my friends, is a soft goal that Jarosuck Modry just scored.

Amonte has to shoot the bleeping puck.
