I may have given up hope

I am a true fan of our home team heroes(more like zero's now) but I actually stopped for the first time watching this team.
I am absolutely disgusted with all the bad decisions we have been making
Theodore must be traded while he still has some value,5 goals against vancouver on like 8 shots and now 5 more on 15 or so,what was Gainey thinking giving him another start.
PLAY HUET!!!!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD AT LEAST WE HAVE CHANCES WITH HIM.
We need a power forward and we need to drop off at least 3-4 players.
Ribiero gone
Zednick gone
Sundstrom retire
Bonk ???? boink
Theo salut
Lets see what we can get
Theo to Edmonton for Bergeron and Moreau
to Vancouver for Bertuzzi
Just had to get it out
PLEASE BOB DO SOMETHING BIGGER THAN DOWNEY
STOP WAITING FOR THESE DEADBEATS TO PICK UP A GAME THEY DO NOT HAVE

I agree, I stopped watching the game mid-3rd period. The Habs are officially in the toilet. A shake-up trade is needed.

In the words of the wise Phillip J. Fry: You can't give up hope just because it's hopeless. You gotta hope even more and cover your ears and go "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!"

Exactly. People have been jumping on and off the bandwagon like crazy lately. We are starting to look like the leafs. Once you jump off, stay off, we dont want you back. Give Gainey time, he knows that we might not make the playoffs, but making a dumb trade is pointless especially if we want to be successful in the future years.

... and there is no way in **** that Vancouver is going to trade Burtuzzi for Theo, or Edmonton is going to trade Bergeron AND Moreau for Theo... I would like it to happen, but those teams would need Milbury (spelling?) as a GM...

If the Habs don't win all their games I'll still root for them. What I don't want them to do is to hang on to players who don't perform well. Gainey will slowly realize his mistakes if he hasn't already done so: relatively minor ones for signing Dagenais, Ribeiro, Dandenault, Vandermeer, Ivanans, and major ones like signing Theodore for so much money (repeating Savard's error). Equally important, he totally overlooked the urgent need to strengthen the defense. He can let a number of players go as soon as their contracts are up at the end of this season or next but Theodore will remain an albatross around his neck for years to come. At this point we should be grateful that Gainey took Huet as a throw-in in the trade of Garon for Bonk. Huet may not be great but at least he's respectable in comparison to Theo. Gainey could also fall back on Danis. Now if only Theo would decide to retire (accept a movie contract, for example, or join the family business ).
