What would you AVS fans do to get ...

Deadmarsh back in an AV's uni? It's been said before and i'll reiterate... the av's need a little bit of grit in their top 2 units.

So how about trading

Johanson, Skoula, 2nd rounder

for

Deadmarsh, Karlson?

or something along those lines. Anything to get deader in a av's uni. The you guys trade a 3rd round pick to Detroit for Cujo and you're set. No one can touch you guys.

imagine this

Deadmarsh Forsberg Hejduk
Selane Sakic Kariya
Tanguay Nikolishin Hinote

The GM's all around the league would be furious seeing a lineup like that.

haha don't flame me it's just an idea.

Until Deadmarsh proves he's back in top playing condition and that the concussions don't force him to change his style, he's a worthless commodity and no team in their right mind would trade for him.

If Deadmarsh can become healthy and produce like he did before his injury...injuries, then maybe.

since it was a concussion that ended his year last year and it STILL is lingering in his system and bothering him is a very bad sign. if he can't get back by christmas, then there's no way i make that trade. if thats the case, as sad as it is(and it's looking quite similar for allison)he might need to jsut hang em up and end his career early.

Gritty players can't be gritty if they've got soft heads. Lindros is proof positive of that.

You can say the Avs need more grit all you want...but while I respect your opinion, that is NOT the problem.

Hmmmm.

You have to consider playing time though. Deadmarsh gets injured a lot more in LA because he's their 1st line power forward. Back in Colorado he'd probably be seeing less ice time, and then sharing it with Battaglia. No doubt his injures are too frequet for my tastes, but I think he would be injured a lot less if aquired.

Deadmarsh is worth about a bag of marbles and a few snickers bars. Like other people have said, he has to prove he can take a NHL game with the hits, and that he can return to his previous form. Then again, playing with two stars will give anyone points like he has been racking up (see Tanguay)

Adam Deadmarsh is currently a fat oaf(about 300,000 pounds overweight) and has playdough as a brain.

No thanks.

Ok then wiseass, what's he worth? Keep in mind he hasn't played nor practiced yet this year, and barely saw any ice time last season. Let's hear what you project the Avs should give up for damaged goods. I think I've got some change in my pocket.

What, I don't get any credit for berating him in my post?

Nice to see the funny hat back Ensane.
