You have got to be kidding me. Come on, man. Are you really pushing for Orr to play ahead of Hollweg? How on Earth does that help the team?

We need a breakout game tonight from Jagr, Straka and Sykora. I liked that renney had them together the other night but it didn't give them the spark that I thought it would. I would be nice to welcome Miller to Broadway with a hat from Jags.

sweet jumping christ, do we HAVE to have a "orr must play tonight!" post every game?

i think the rangers have done fine without orr, and i'm not a fan of putting a guy out there just so he can play 4 minutes.

if peters only gets 4 minutes, he's a non factor, forget him.

Because Orr will scare the other players and it will be an easy win.

Just about to leave for the game. Hopefully Sykora buries one and the Rangers win tonight.

Jagr's due for a big game, he's been in a mini slump lately.

He's battling a wicked cold, he still has it and he cant get better because he cant take medicine because of the Olympics. He didn't skate at the practice this morning.

The rangers don't have anyone on the team who only plays 4 minutes for him to replace. Who are you going to double shift?

I haven't been to the Garden since November, so I dont really know. Have the fans really warmed up to Poti since he started playing better? Does he still get booed during the opening introductions?

Miller - Lundqvist has all the makings of the next great goaltending duel.

It's gonna be a delight for us (Sabres and Rangers fans) to watch these two go at it for years.

I'm alittle nervous about starting Lundqvist 4 games in 6 days right after he complained of being 'mentally tired', but I guess the thinking is Weekes will get the start on saterday and that Henrik will get a week of after tonight.

Edit: aparently the message board doesn't support the ohm (omega) symbol, what a pity.
It may be cheesy but it sure beats the EGG line

You said that line about Sykora on a GDT a few days ago.

The reason Ranger fans like Lundy is that he is a good goaltender night in and night out and is not wildly inconsistant like the goaltenders we've had for the past few seasons.

Seriously, Rucinsky needs a benching. He's been useless for a few weeks now, no idea why he's still handed prime playing time.

He was moved down to the 2nd line vs. the Devils and had 2 assists. Rucinsky is underappreciated as a hockey player IMO. I agree, he has not looked himself the last week or so and unfortunately, he let it get to him defensively and he stopped hustling on a couple of costly occassions. He will take a penalty every once in a while but he is a great two way player. I think his problems started when he was placed on the point. If I were Renney, I would put Poti or Sykora with Tyutin on the top unit. Those lines really worked against New Jersey, and want to see them again.

Anyone in the wrong TV sections, this game is blacked out, gotta catch the radio. The 2, 3, 5 sections are blackout sections for tonight's game.

Rangers 4 (Jagr, Prucha 2, Straka)
Sabres 2
