Opinions On Deal

I need a goalie for a Yahoo league and just got burned on a sweet deal, league cancelled it but he proposed it to me.

Anyways I've got the depth on LW and C:
How does this look?:

To Me:
Lalime

To him:
Vishnovsky
Samsanov
Nurminen

No doubt. You are getting schooled here. Samsonov plus Nurminen should be more than enough. But to add Vish too? Something else should be coming back to you IMO.

All depends on how bad you want Lalime I guess.

Son, for a fantasy league, having a goalie likes Nurminen does more harm than good.

Bob, seems like i am with the majority here.....Samsonov is going to have a big season playing with Thornton and Knuble

Nurminen looks great for the Thrashers so far, and i think the motivation of the Thrasher players will push them for a possible playoff appearance

Vishnovsky added in the deal...wow, thats when i say the poster is giving up too much....at least he should get something back with Lalime

it is definately close

Majority opinion means absolutely nothing for fantasy advice, i mean there are only going to be ONE winner in each league. It is the one that has wealth of hockey knowledge and luck that will win, but the popular or common choice.

However, your point is well taken Red Fisher, i like Vishnosky and picked him up myself. Also it is important to keep into consideration that Samsonov is no longer play with Murray and Thornton on the first line anymore, and who knows how that will affect him.

fair enough.....just seems like if a overwhelming majority pick one option over the other, there is probably some merit to it Anyways, seems like most of us have a different opinon from you

The reason behind giving up a lot is that I think that having Lalime will offset Samsanov. In Samsanov's place Frolov will play. I didn't like giving up Vishnovsky with Modry out for a while, so I cancelled that deal before I even read any of the responses.

Anyways the new deal is now:
Samsanov
Nurminen
Cajanek

Lalime

Cajanek is a spare player for me as my top 4 centres are Modano, Demitra, Legwand and Marleau. I'm not sold on Nurminen myself for a Yahoo league either as I don't think that Atlanta can keep this up, but I do have Kovalchuk so as long as he keeps going it's all good.
