When Lehkonen comes back
I think he's going to be on the 4th line

Same first line
Same second line
Lehkonen - Danault - Shaw
Hudon - Mitchell - Carr

11 hits in 3 games, he's trying to show hes capable of engaging physically.

Oh, I thought you meant Lehkonen, because that would make more sense.

2 seasons in a row he gets 2 assist in 3 games. Hopefully they keep him around this time.

How could they afford not to? They need to find out what he can do before they expose him at the expansion draft.

Agree. Logically, Hudon is there for at least 10 games.

Also, if he succeeds, his stock improves on the trade front... they need to stop toying around with him and give him a legit shot...

With Hudon's skill level, I hope gets a shot next to Galchenyuk and Radulov. Players' fortunes change fast in the NHL these days.

Hudon can't play LW.

He should be playing with Danault and Shaw...
Therrien always pushes a lot of buttons but never the right ones.
Not only that he breaks up lines that are going well to try to fix others that aren't.
The problem being his tinkering inevitably fails then he tries to recreate the magic to no avail.
I can't find words to express how utterly daft I find his thought process.

What's weird with Hudon is that he is defensively aware and responsible, but not very good at it...

Hudon's is getting more comfortable playing in the NHL. I can't wait till he has 20+ games and see what his true potential is. I suspect he will be around for a while. He has to screw up pretty bad to be send down IMO. McCarron gets his shot towards the end of the year.

I think that's a fair assessment that I would agree with

Seems to be a puck on neck (like Beaulieu).

Well... that might come with playing against better players. I mean, a guy can be aware as much as he can be, if he's not used to that level of competition, he won't achieve much defensively.

Problem with Hudon is the Habs have too many Hudon's (Pleky, DD, Byron, Ghetto). They all get pushed around and don't win puck battles.

One of them is already gone, another might not finish the season and the other is HOPEFULLY gone at the expansion draft.

he is but is likely adjusting to the speed since it is only his 3rd game in the NHL this year. Due to his lack of speed I don't think he would be on the PK but he's solid in his own end, at least in the AHL.

I heard a thing on sportsnet the other day where they said a local beat writer I believe was tracking how many Preds got injured in practice from Weber's shot over the years. He didn't say a number but was just making a point about it. Hopefully Hudon wasn't hit from a Weber shot. But too bad for him as he played a solid game and likely would have been in the lineup tomorrow.

TB is full of skill undersized forwards... it's not that big a deal if the talent is there.
