Picard looked real good and didn't look out of place. He has a real hard shot that's accurate and his passes are sharp and crisp. He's very good positionally as well. With all that being said though, it's only one game. I'd still prefer that he be sent back to the Phantoms to play as much as possible. He's had his taste and maybe if he goes back to the Phantoms, he becomes really hungry and plays even more and really begins to develop that physical edge.

He's gonna be a real good one. High end will be a top 2 guy. Low end is a number 4. You can see that he has the skill and he's willing to listen and learn.

I thought he looked good. I can't recall any mistakes off the top of my head which should be good enough but he also led the flyers in shots i believe (6?) and he seems to have a heavy, relatively accurate shot.

He seemed calm with the puck moving it out of the defensive zone.

I feel like everytime he had the puck in the offensive zone he shot first without looking up but it was his first start in the NHL as a 20-21 yr old kid, you can't expect him to be making dazzling passes and setting up others, it was the safe play.

Need to see him more before we can go crazy but I don't think you can point to anything negative at this point.

That's my take.

I always liked Picard more than Kirk. He was quite an exhalted commander of the SS Enterprise.

I didn't see the game. Are you sarcastic?

I'm curious to see how he does, since I went to elementary school with him.

He did not play terrible, I think he is a gem. He is smooth, composed with the puck and physical. Very mobile player. One of the goals he was on for he threw a nice pick then Gagne caughed up the puck. The other goal it was his linemates man who got let loose.

I completely agree- he was terrible lastnight. I thought he was so so against Pittsburgh but last night against Montreal he was hideous. In fact I liken him to a younger Bundy. Slow easy to predict and so on.....

The question is what game r u watching, all the 2 on 1 against us picard made a bad pinch going for the puck on the 3rd goal and got roasted he looked out of place and has no place on this team. They should of brought up Skolney instead. Are d reeks right now, we desperatly need kim and pitkanen back

well I think you're wrong. Picard showed some promise whereas Bundy is just Bundy
