I don't think there has been any news regarding Bure. I'm of the minority here that's pulling for a return of Pavel Bure to the lineup though. Whenever he's in the game, he improves the Rangers chances of winning night in and night out greatly. Then we could ship Carter off for somebody useful

I think it's a long shot of Bure returning this year. But what do I know stranger things have happened.

I think all of us are pulling for a return, the guy was our best player and PRODUCTIVE every game he played for us. We always get screwed like this though.

Better provide a link, cause I saw about 2 weeks ago that Bure went back to Moscow. And I wouldn't get your hopes up for a return, the guy is having trouble walking without pain.

Bure rehabilitation continues
- - PBFC exclusive
October 22, 2003
Injured New York Rangers winger Pavel Bure is continuining with his rehab program.

In a phone call with the Pavel Bure Fan Club, he indicated that last week's check up with the medical staff confirmed the present prognosis. He will remain on an indefinte absence from his club while his knees heal.

At present he is in the Florida area, spending time with his brother Valeri Bure, who is a member of Pavel's ex-team the Florida Panthers. Valeri is also out injured, but with a pulled groin.

really it isnt anything new, but my point is that its encouraging that hes so determined to come back. how many other players in his position would do the same thing?
