So no thread about the Habs Vintage jersey?

We already knew about it for a while. Look kinda cool, the red number on the back were difficult to read sometimes. Having a brand new jersey wouldn't have been very popular.

i think they look very sweet, they should just fix up the number in the bac, maybe put an outline around the number or something, but they are definitety pretty. Simple and effective, that's the problems some teams don't understand. Nver mind changing the logo, the logo is your team's identity, just use the same colors and switch them around.

hint hint: Dallas

I only saw a tiny bit of the game, but the little I saw of the jerseys made me like them a lot. I'm all for clean, simple, classic designs.

I liked them a lot. They looked great on the ice (sorta the opposite of the wild's 3rd jerseys that look nice in pictures but terrible in action).

You are a Leafs fan so it's just ok you dont like it,

It's like if I had a small chance to like a Toronto Jersey one day.

_______

Was a joke of course.

In real, I like this jersey a lot. But I agree the numbers are not so easy to see.

i didnt mind em.

i just had a couple issues.

League switches the home away jersey rule because of teams using third jerseys, which are all dark. And Montreal has to FACK that over less than 10 games into the season,

seriously, my main issue was the numbering. IMpossible to see whose who with that deep stripe along the bottom. A White Outlining would help. Obviously back when they wore it, TV wasnt an issue. But it is now.

I have to say I love them. If they could only put a white trim around the numbers in the back I wouldn't mind seeing that as the permanent away jersey.

Far and away the best 3rd to debut this season. Vintage hockey, classic Habs. Love it.

I just have the same beef as most others, just a little to hard to see the numbers while the play is going. I really think they are very pleasing to the eye though, nice use of color and not adding in black like most other teams.

If anyone noticed back in the 40's they had the numbers in white with a blue trim for that
third jersey , now they put it in red so that might be the reason we can hardly see the numbers....Anyways they look awsome, we should wear them for half our away games with the other all white jersey....maybe next year

Just went to Centre Bell pro shop, they sell replicas of those jersey there for 129$. I start to believe those soap commercial, isn't that white jersey a lot whiter tham the other. How can you make white more white is beyond me. Maybe it is because they took out the red shoulders or maybe the lack of sleep.
