It's a good thing that the Kings have a coach who can make great in-game adjustments.

Why do I have the feeling alot more people will be in agreement with my analysis after this game?

Don't hold your breath.

It will be:

Be patient - The injured players need time to get back in game shape.

Did you notice a few minutes when Miller was on the ice with Corvo that, when Joe was beaten at center ice, there was Aaron (a defensive d-man) to cover for him? Pairing someone who's weak defensively with one who's strong defensively: what a concept.

I know but this game has me torn between wanting my team to win and proving my point.

Bob Miller just made the statement that the Kings would be down 6-1 if it wasn't for Garon. But hey this is a playoff bound team.

The Kings are being worked by teams that aren't even in the playoffs (or barely in it). Too bad they don't have the same fire and desperation that these other teams have. It's as if they think that their 5th place is safe. If the Kings manage to finish 5th at the end of the season, it'll probably only be after dropping out of the playoffs and then fighting their way back, since they'll likely never have the consistent intensity that real winning teams have.

I'm sure that Murray was happy with the effort. He'll just say that the bounces just didn't go the Kings way, the returning players aren't in "game" shape and the loss of Visnovsky hurt the Kings.

I'd say something has to change, but you all already know that.

So I'll just say I'm disappointed with the effort so far. They started off well...buzzing and physical. But horrible team defense made it look like they were short-handed for the last 10 minutes.

Jeff Cowan: "We played a solid period".

Someone needs to show him the stats page:

Shots: LA/13 ANA/18
Goals: LA/1 ANA/3
PP's: LA/1 for 3 ANA/2 for 3

Cowan's a moron.

Or maybe the dump and chase offense doesn't work anymore in the NHL? Other than give away possession...

Just watch how the Ducks enter the attacking zone with speed. They also seem to know where their teammates will be without looking. They must practice together or something. Maybe the Kings should try that.

What an awful period. That was worse than the whole Oilers game combined.

Mindcircus......stop being so negative. Remember the Ducks are the best team in the NHL, and the Kings are fatigued, and they have half their team on the IR.

But Murray is a great coach and he is going to take this team to the Stanley Cup finals.

Ya know, Corvo made for a terrific window on Perry's goal (the 2nd). Can't blame Garon when he can't even see the shot being fired because a big defenseman is standing like a dumb tree in front of him.

Don't worry about the Kings, it's not like the rest of the Pacific division is playing well right now. Plus the Kings will have plenty of rest in the second half of the season, while the other teams have to go out and win games...

This team will not be in a playoff spot when the Olympic break starts with this current coaching staff.

I'll be shocked if Dallas loses another game this season.

Visnovsky is back. Like I said when he went down, he severely exaggerates his injuries.

EDIT: ...and his being back means the reunion of him with Corvo for a return of the most craptastic pairing in all of hockey. 4-1 Ducks

But what excuse will Murray use if his team is healthy?

I can't wait till all of the injured players get back. We can't win without JR and Bure.
