I got Civ 5 from Holden. Looked up last night and it was 11:30
Lol I do that with my baseball/hockey sim games. Load up a save at 7pm thinking I'll play for an hour and what I feel is 20 minutes later my wife is telling me she's going to bed.... aaaaaand it's midnight.
so yeah. Just want to know I got some fam out there
Sorry bout that. My sis and brother-in-law just flew back to MB and I love them both but this visit was less than stellar. My broinlaw, who is inches away from a PHD, is normally a funny and engaging guy. He was so aloof during this visit he didn't seem like the same man I've known for 6years now.
I'm wearing my Christmas gift home jersey. Put Hellebuyck on it.
My respect for the Snyder family is well-venerated. What he did for them is my way of letting him carry the torch for me. Wish he would have played. Christ, every time I see Hutch handle the puck.. oh man.
It was a great night. My wife let me have a night off and gave me the Cask of Dreams bottle of scotch. 2012 limited run. Sat in my cabinet for four years. Me and the cousins drained it in short order. Toasted the man.
I'll be good tomorrow. I feel no sorrow. A venerated old man dying in a warm bed might be a loss, but it's no tragedy. It is, like, the mathematically least tragic way to go.
Anyways. That's why I'm not there in the thread tonight. I know you'd miss my cloying positivity
Sounds like a rough day. Hope you feel better in the morning
Heh actually I'm sure I will. This is like borderline for me. I was on a streak once, three Letters of the Day published in the Winnipeg Sun. I was drunk out of my gourd all three times. I think this speaks less about me and more about the sad sack state of Winnipeg intellectualism but yeah. Just. Morose. not bad. quietly in my den. Hockey highlights. That flying W.
Man, if I was Randy Jones there, I'd have passed it back in split-second time too
You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying.
When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse out of the corner of my eye.
NO TRUFAX story here, in my high school, we put out a budget to get a ROBI the Robot like was all the rage back then. I programmed its speech synth to, for the purposes of our recruiting drive, deadpan-sing "Comfortably Numb".
And I imagine that your lyrics were about as heartfelt, you jackal
