Surgery for both Bergeron and Rask, should be fine for start of next season
Good stuff. Hope for better health next season for these two.

Was it ever reported what was wrong with Krejci?

I was coming here to ask the same thing. My guess? They checked him out and found out he was missing a heart...

In all seriousness, what was the lower body injury and is he recovered or will he too need surgery like Bergy and Rask?

It was merely another disappointing playoff effort by Marchand. I think that some were hoping to excuse it away by injury.

The last I knew, not a word was mentioned about Marchand being injured by the press or anyone in the know.

However, Krejci was discussed and missed playing time due to something- it was never clear what caused him to be out. Some of us feel he's more of a choker than Marchand. Marchand, in my opinion, was pretty tense, coming off the suspension. There was a time when the ref blew a whistle near Anderson- there was a scrum in front of the net, but he looked right over at the ref, expecting to be told he was going to the box.

Oh believe me, I've been more on Krejci than any Bruin post playoff run.

I didn't mean for my post to come off as sarcastic as it did. I actually did mildly suspect Marchand had some injury going into the playoffs. But nothing has come out so I am wrong.

That top line got a lot of attention due to the lack of depth the majority of that series.

IMHO lack of top line forward production had more to do with the best forwards on the team spending a good deal of time covering the holes in the D roster.
