Can't wait for him to have a 5 point night in the playoffs and people will be upset that he's padding his playoffs stats.

I want to apologize to Max for bashing him for the past few months. That's why I am just a hockey fan and not a GM. I have learned that I sometimes have bad judgment.
He is on pace for his 5th 30 goal season and 4th in a row.
I will shut up now and get off his back.
Plekanec on the other hand...

It's crazy how streak he is. Only 5 players in the NHL have more goals and that's with starting the year with just 2 goals in 14 games. since then he's got 17 in 26. He's got 5 goals in the last 5 games, in the last 16 games he's got 14 goals. That's just crazy.

The guy stepped up when we needed him, I was wrong earlier in the season.

He's our captain after all.

Until he goes 5 games without a goal, then he's the worst captain in the history of the Montreal Canadiens lol

Just the pucks. The bag might be too much to ask for.

Streaky and crazy at the same time....the foot injury seems to be gone, and the guy is just on fire...gotta give Radulov alot of credit here also...

Always so fun to watch when he goes on these kinds of tears.

Was wrong about him. I thought he had difficulty with the extra pressure from the letter on his jersey but he seems to be growing into this role. That was before we knew about the foot injury though. At least now we know he can look as good as he's ever been with the added pressure, which is good to see.

Now if we can only learn somehow Plekanec had a similar injury and see him go on a tear too, that'd be nice.

Would you say those things to him face-to-face? Of course not. The blood would drain from your head, your knees would knock, and you'd soil your pants.

If Laine remains out with a concussion, he may get even farther up in the rankings. He's been an elite goal scorer for years. No other Hab has been close.

Plekanec doesn't get many scoring opportunities. No one sets him up.

That's because Plekanec can't score goals.
Just remember about all the passes Radulov gave to Plekanec early in the season, but the latter ended up missing his shot or shooting it on the goalie.

The point point of eating crow should be about the realization that goal scoring always comes in streaks, given that the highest goalscores score under a goal per game.

true, but that doesnt excuse the floating around, refusal to be involved physically, the blind passes to no-one, and so on...

He's never been and never will be a physical player. When he wasn't scoring he was still playing solid defensive hockey, and was never a liability on the ice. He just wasn't scoring.
