"you don't change a winning lineup"

every coach says this after a win talking about the next game.
I hope Bg keeps the same lineup and benches Zed again. Keep the two enforcers in the lineup, keep Theo in goal. if we want Theo back to his former self, wether for his confidence/performance or trade value, BG must give him the green light after the win against the Leafs.

Do we need Downey and Ivanans in at the same time vs the Canes?

I agree better off with Zednik playing on the fourth line.

no way! he will kill the energy of the fourth line.

Ivanans-begin-downey need to stay together.
We need to be physical against the canes so they get scared of us.

Just bc the canes aren't tough, shouldn't mean we shouldn't be.

I kinda agree tough I would mind if we would sit Ivanas and go with 7 D's instead in case one D has a bad game.

One day I would like to see the Habs play the ''intimidating game''.

send a guy like Begin or Downie on Staal ....

They don't have a goon to strike back

I totally agree! The canes were all over us the last time, we need some big hitters to slow up their transition game and impose our own Rythm on the game. Carolina can afford to not have goons because they're a good size team. Montreal is a small team and we need some guys to keep the opposition honest.

Something has to be done to make Erik Cole less rambunctious. Maybe a little hard contact?

After no one did anything after the elbow kost got last game, how can we not?

We don't need to clear the bench, but I would like to see some players on our team do a little more then give our opponents dirty looks.

exactly, the fourth line isn't for "one arm Zed" or "wrap around Zed". he'd kill the energy of Begin and/or Downey Ivanas. keep the enforcers in the lineup, let's be the intimidators for once. the fourth line can hit Caines' D-men and try to tire em out. crash and bag every chance they get.
I say leave Zed in the press box.

You do change a winning line-up when the win was by the skin of your teeth against a team that lost 8 games in row .
