Siberian, we don't really know much here. The article sounds very promising, though.....I wonder if he even wants to come over. We have had problems with Mukachev recently, and it just seems a general trend for our team that its hard for us to get our Russian/Euro players over here.
We've been hearing for two years now how great this guy is, and he seems promising...but in all honesty, we haven't had the best luck in prying guys away from their European teams, which leads me to believe that Poile has an ongoing policy of offering very safe two-way deals to these guys and leaving it at that. Most of them don't want to come over and play in the minor league, understandably. However, if that approach fails over and over...why continue drafting them? Draft guys from Europe that are either can't-miss prospects that you KNOW you'll bring over...or Canadians\Americans.
