Normand L'Amour lives in the SAME STREET where I'm moving in the next month. And yes, I STILL bought the house there knowing that. My brother took guitar lessons at the place that sells his CDs and promotes him and I bought drum sticks there when I took Music courses in high schools. Normand L'Amour BLESSED my pregnant sister in law and gave her "Positive Waves" so that the baby would come out ok. Like that, nobody asked him anything. Also, he used to run a little restaurant with his brother on the field of Marine Industrie Limited, where my dad worked, and he's always been a whackjob. Rumors says he was a priest that dropped the church and went crazy at sometime in the mid 50's, when the Dupplesists lost their influence. Oh and by the way, he, Dany Turcotte, and Andre Boisclair swing the same way.

I had the woohoo give me a CD in person. He distributed them at the KFC/Pizza Hut I was at. It's the only KFC in Sorel-Tracy you can't miss it. I was waiting for my bucket of Fried Whatizits (Chicken, really?) and my Pizza when he just came up to me, and said "My name is Normand L'Amour, I'm Author/Composer/Singer and I would like to give you a CD of my greatest hits, they're a work of love..." and a lot of stuff that I still have blocked out.

So of course me being me, I took the CD.

And then I listened to it from one side to the other. Then I went out and practiced discus throwing with the CD. Unfortunately, CDs don't fly too good. So I sold it at a local used CDs store for credits. Got 2 bucks for it.

True facts. All.

Tout le monde en parle just wrecked a great underground artist. Now when I'll be singin'.... "oh étaa grosse la caaaaaarpe, je l'ai nééyééé, y'avait rien d'autre à fayre, rien, rien, a pézait 20 lbs, a pézait, une grosse carpe là, po un tite, une groooosse carpe, je l'ai nééééyéééé..." on my way to shcool, or in the bus, everybody's going to look at me thinking I'm a pop music cat.

anyone has a site suggestion with many L'amour classics?

No he's not trying to be. He's eccentric and he takes this dead serious.

My dad bought his CD back in the days. I remember when he used to sing during the weather report at "La fin du monde est à 7h"...it was hilarious.

I don't really have a favorite song since they're all as good as it gets!

What about his translated songs? Man, did that song ever sound like arabian?

And what about his sum up when he said..."faut que vous m'aimez avant que je meurs, parce que quand je vais être mort ça sera plus le temps de dire...ah yétait dont beau, yétait dont bon!".

I used to play his song on our college radio show. You could see all the people wondering what the hell was playing while they we're eating. Still love that Abeille song.... with Y font du miel brun et du miel blanc or something like that. Man that guy is just a classic! A must listen if your drunk. You will literaly piss your pants.

I have to correct myself, it's not Abeille but Les Faux Bourdons!

And this is Ejaculine and not Shabutie... damn you, you didnt log out from my computer! *******!
