If the Leafs win the cup, average game by game ticket price will become three times higher than at the Super Bowl.

Consensus from Lightning STM's is 8.5% increase. This one tips the scale a bit

$66 to $79.50 for the 2017-18 season

I'm told Vegas pegged the ST prices to the league average but everyone on here seems to pay less; are they paying that much in Toronto and at MSG to skew the average?

It's hard to tell here because you don't really know what section someone's tickets are in unless they say or there's a seat map with prices posted.

From what I've seen, Las Vegas is very similar to San Jose price-wise, which I assume would be average/slightly above average.

Florida panthers just sent out their renewal packages, my seats went from $25 to $28 per game, it includes free parking and the usual perks, new this year is you get a team jacket.

Haha.....that's awesome!

I know parking alone is usually $20 when I go to games.

Stamford is not adjacent to Bridgeport, either. It's a good 12-15 miles down 95. It has Darien, Norwalk (another city), Westport and Fairfield between them and Bridgeport. Darien and Westport are loaded with old money.

Stamford has some very nice areas (North Stamford and the area bordering New Canaan) but there are a lot of bad areas, as well. Near the hospital and the south end are both pretty bad.
Bridgeport is the largest city in the Fairfield County (Bridgeport-Stamford) Metropolitan area so it gets the name.

Probably

I know there are Leaf seasons that go for <$50 per game (aka the top three rows in the arena), but even the last row greens (row 10 upper bowl) I have for the Hawks/Leafs game in March have a $160 face which IIRC means they are around $128 SSH cost. Now of course, that's a Tier 1 game so its the most expensive, but IIRC it comes out to around $105 per game, which even with exchange could still get you some lower bowls in Vegas.

Expanding list of benefits too.

COO John Tortora (about 30 minutes in) talks about the analysis they did of seats on almost a row-by-row and section-by-section to determine where the demand was (so they needed to raise prices as well as lower ticket prices in less desirable tickets).

I would love for this to happen with the Sabres but I doubt it.
I expect tickets to go up at the same increase as it did before this season.
Which means for me a $1 a ticket/each game - $29 to $30.
Which is ok for me however people in the higher price levels will be upset as it will be close to $4 a ticket more/each game.

Season Ticket Holders are probably hoping the Pegulas do what they did with their other team they own.
(A couple of weeks ago - the Bills announced they are keeping the prices the same for next season.)

My season tickets at MTSC for the Jets are $107 each (P3) a game and face value walk up for the seats is $125-$171 - row 14 goal line - attack zone 2 periods - facing team benches.

In LV they would be equivalent to LC2 -$100-$110 (Lower Corners - shoot twice -facing team benches)

So aside from the low $CDN right now my seats at MTSC would cost the same in LV.

Will not know until mid March what my price increase will be for 2017/18

Almost all sections are staying the same. Those which are changing are highlighted.

All figures are per-game, full season STH rates, in US dollars

SectionThis SeasonNext Season
First Row$187$187
Second Row$116$116
Center Ice Preferred$119$119
Center Ice$116$116
Center Ice Top 8$101$101
Sideline Preferred$92$92
Sideline$80$75
Lower Level South Preferred$80$80
Lower Level South$64$60
Lower Level North Preferred$67$67
Lower Level North$54$51

Champions Club$179$181

Club Select$85$85
Mezzanine$55$55
Terrace Preferred$40$40
Terrace Value$32$32
Shoot Twice Goal Zone$22$22
Fan Zone$16$16

The Sideline section is listed as a "special", not sure if that means it's time-limited or something.

They've done away with the "flex" model for partial season STH: NEW for 2017-18: 22-Game and 11-Game Flex Plan Season Ticket Members will now pay one discounted price, regardless of game selection; box office and the general public will still be subject to variable pricing, but Flex Plan Members can pick any of the games in the highest demand without paying a premium rate. NOTE: All plans will include Opening Night.

but in reality isn't $107CAD $78USD.
You just can't discount the CAD difference when its like .75/1.00.
LV is getting more revenue from the same amount of STH.

You sure about that? You might want to add up all the revenues from all the different price points (Season ticket price * number of seats at that particular price) and then factor in the currency exchange to determine if Vegas will actually have a greater gate than Winnipeg. Of course it is a rough estimate as it would not factor in the markup of the remaining non-season tickets for the 45 games in the pre-season and regular season.

Leafs seasons went up about 15% across the board in the upper bowl as the Leafs try to "help consumers" by "combating scalpers". 7-10% increases in the lower bowl from what I've heard.

^ It's no wonder you see a lot of Leafs fans at Canes, Lightning, etc. games - cheaper to take in a game there.

how does raising the prices, help the consumer from scalpers? How about they restrict reselling and if you resell more than "X" amount of games, your package gets cancelled moving forward.

They openly promote selling games you can't go to on the TM fan-to-fan site, then complain people are selling too many tickets. Pretty rich (no pun intended) if you ask me.

Honestly, I think they know that next year when the Leafs are legitimately good the re-sale prices will be absolutely outrageous so they're trying to get their piece of the pie now. Can't blame them from that end - the fact that my Raptors seasons went up 30% this year on the other hand...
