I don't like it at all. After the first line, we've got problems with offense at least on paper, not to say it won't work, but I have reservations.
At the beginning of this season I think a lot of us saw the Habs rolling four speedy lines, each of which should have been a threat to score:
Zed Koivu Kovy
Dags Ribs Ryder
Bulis Bonk Sunny
Higgins Begin Plekanec
We were supposed to be a skating team. Things haven't (lets just say) quite worked out as planned (injuries, player slumps, abysmal goaltending, some guys not playing up to reasonable expectations). The first line was crippled, the second imploded, Bonk wasn't able to have the impact everyone wanted. To top it all off Theo has played like a third stringer.
I simply don't think the lineup above gives us the team we need to have consistent success and i'm not happy about it.
Let's just cross our fingers and hope that Bonk has played the last game as a Habs. haha, wishful thinking. Bulis, Koivu and Pleks, Ribs are te best 4 centres on the team and I bet no one will miss Bonk tonight, unless you like to have a scapegoat. Can anyone do an avatar of Bonk with goat horns for me?
