was going to put Malakhov but he always played like that, Kamensky was good, then turned to crap when he was here.

Has to be Quintal. He not only sucked but demanded to be moved. I despised him.

Yeah, but if Sather hadn't signed Malakhov he might've kept Schneider.

Popovic is my pick for worst player on this list (he's so bad you had to list him twice ), but Kamensky is by far the worst signing due to the money and number of years in that contract. Just awful.

And as a side note, Kevin Hatcher was a horrible trade, not a horrible signing.

Kamensky was brutal, Ciger was awful (saved by the fact that Sather somehow managed to turn him into Matt Barnaby), but I went with Kevin Hatcher to mix things up.

I voted for Fraser. Mainly because the jackass GM of the team we took him from, ridiculed the signing.

He was correct, but he was still a jackass.

Hatcher, Stevens, Errey, Muzzatti and Popovic were trades, not signings.

Well they got Hatcher for Popovic. And Errey came in the deal that brought Todd Harvey (and got rid of Keane and Skrudland).

And Harvey got us Dvorak who got us Carter who got us Jagr!

Bruce Driver and John MacLean-Driver was given a NTC and MacLean is Mr.Devil.He scored that huge goal in 1988 in Chicago which knocked the Rangers out of the playoffs.Plus he broke Niklas Sundstrom's arm in the 1997 playoffs with an unpenalized baseball bat swing

Kevin Stevens does not belong here simply because he was not that bad, he had 40 + in both of his seasons here and 23 goals in one. Granted he was not great by any means but I feel he did his job considering that after a while he spent most of his time on a 3rd line.

Where is Ulanov? Or Driver? For that matter Fleury and Holik didn't work out all too great either. It's easy to say Kamensky. He was Brutal with a capital B. But to be honest with you off this list I have to go with Hatcher. He refused to hit anyone. Gave absolutely no effort in any one single game that I can recall. He was just a big dork. Hated him. And I think Ulanov was worse than Kamensky too.

Had to go with Keane, I could not stand his tenure here. Some checker he turned out to be, the only person he hit all year was Lafontaine...

Popovic was truely an unsung hero during most of his career in the NHL, especially in Montreal.

He shouldnt be on that list, Lindros should though

That's true, but I really didn't like Hatcher, even if he did relieve us of Popovic.
