Jeff Davidson has been named the new OL coach for the Broncos - came over from SD

Apparently he is very highly respected, and used to be a Broncos player

Joseph is putting together one hell of a staff

If the big FA signing is on the DLine, then do you think they'll go OT/OG with the first two picks?

Listening to the fan this AM I kinda agreed with the dude - do not discount Connor McGovern next year.

He was a late round pick out of Missouri last year that I REALLY liked. Power guard type guy with impressive combine numbers.

Davidson is apparently going to move us back to power blocking vs the zone blocking scheme. This actually should benefit a few guys on the line - McGovern being one of them. He might sneak into the lineup the same way Paradis did - first year 0 time and second year starter material.

Given the OL troubles this season, I was really disappointed the guy couldn't get into the lineup. I simply came away with the conclusion that he's just not that good. Perhaps a poor thought process on my part, but our OGs this season were really pretty bad.

Also, I'm concerned about Paradis' longevity. He's having surgery on both hips, and the dude is what - 26?

I'm wondering if Denver should draft Elflein out of Ohio State. Dude's good for OG or C, and is arguably the best interior OL in the draft. It's often tough drafting a C/G in the first round, but he'll quite likely be available at pick 20. Probably not at 51 though.

I believe a lot of the reason Kubiak's gone is because of rifts between the coaches and Elway. Every single person close to the decision to not play Paxton in the last game is gone. I wouldn't be surprised if there was pressure to give McGovern a chance but the coaching staff refused or just conveniently did not do it.

I think the Packers are going to run away with this game. Double digit victory.

Congrats on having the best record in the conference, your reward is to play against Aaron Rodgers!

Their D is abysmal, Rodgers has all the time in the world to throw and Garret has again outsmarted himslef by passing too much at the start of the game instead of letting Zeke pond the rock.

If they don't retain Okung Elway will pretty much has to sign a LT.

I expect an off season like 2014.

Green Bay looks electric right now. But so does Atlanta. Should be some quality games next weekend.

Ian Rappaport is reporting the Broncos will not trade for Tony Romo

No one will. Jerrah has to cut him. Why spend a pick on that contract?

SD's line has lacked talent pretty badly but still, they've been awful. even compared to the rest of the league.

This. Dallas is eating the bulk of the money on Romo's contract no matter what happens.
