Wonder what the asking price is right now for the Duke? Think a 3rd rounder would do it? Tambellini and a 3rd for Duclair, doubt that he wanted to leave NYR in the first place.

Way bigger than that I'm sure, and I don't think we really need him anyway

Apologies Carolina for saying those nice words about your team. Ever since I composed that post complimenting them....4 straight goals for Pens. Well done me....

I don't think they are willing to even trade him. He is young, they are a young team. They are in full rebuild mode.

Maybe for an equivalent defenseman, which we don't have anyway.

Would cost more. They won't want to trade him, likely, anyway.

I also find it amusing that you're proposing Tambellini (the other guy taken in the same round that year) and a 3rd (the round in which Duke/Tambo/Buch were all taken). But maybe that's just me.

We need another winger like Don Cherry needs another crazy suit.

Was just watching the Detroit and Buffalo game. Detroit has to have the worst PP in the league. Looks at stats...yup dead last 11.2%

Recently someone on the main boards said they've scored only 2 PP goals on the road all season. Guess who one of those came against in a 1 goal game.

Very happy for Henrik Sedin and the fact that he got his 1000th point on a goal at home. Best way to do it. And obviously pure class by Luongo there.

I find it disappointing that the Sedins haven't been fortunate enough to win a Cup. They're up there with Henrik and Ovy as far as who "deserves" one.

If the Rangers can get Duclair back for let's say two draft picks, a 3rd and a 5th or even a 2nd and something else, I'd do it. Young, guaranteed cost controlled asset that has had success here, knows the coach, system, etc. Talent like that just doesn't go away. It's a work ethic and possibly training issue. Have him train with his buddy Hayes this summer.

Changes are coming in Rangerland with the expansion draft and certain players like Nash, Klein, Girardi, and maybe even Zuc on the way out as soon as this summer. Picks and prospects are going to be acquired. As some have said, the Metropolitan Division has Pitsburgh/Washington/Columbus/Carolina and potentially Philadelphia being competitive next season so to keep up the Rangers need to keep bringing in young and ready talent. Someone like Duclair can grow with the young core, and ease the lose of a Zuc.

.
It's not a training issue.

doesn't matter how much talent you have if you don't give a **** about what matters.

In other words, he could be the next evander kane for all we know. Absolutely no way you give up a 2nd for that.

I'd just be excited if the Rangers actually had a 2nd round pick in 2017.

I will never understand how that AWFUL 12-13 team came from 2-0 down to beat Washington.

I still wonder if Duke would be this bad if he was still here. I don't think so.

He may have still slumped, but I don't think it would have gotten to the point where he'd get demoted if he was still here, but who knows.

So, the Isles can beat the Kings who looked like dog crap all night. I expect the 2013-14 Kings to show up Monday night.

Holy ****...just finished watching Sabres/Habs.If you guys get a chance, catch the highlights package of the Sabres/Habs. In particularly the last 30 seconds of regulation you will see two of the best saves of the year on in particular by Price with around 15 seconds left and than in OT you'll see Lehner one up Price with what IMO is THE save of the year to save the game for Sabres. Next rush up ice, Sabres win it. Phenomenal ending.

Do yourselves a favor and go watch those two saves the one by Price and the one by Lehner and lmk if you agree with me that we just saw the save of the year by Lehner closely followed by Price....ureal.

They were really good defensively. Stralman and McDonagh beasting it up. By far Stepan's best defensive season. Top ten in CF%

That said, they couldn't score a lick and their bottom six was embarrassing. Not surprised that Boston took us apart.
