To who you think? Edmonton comes to mind, but they are a division rival who the Wild are chasing for a spot.

It's really no shock that Roloson is likely to be dealt, seeing as he's already been quoted as saying that he expects to be dealt. A trained monkey could create a rumour such as this.

That said, there are a lot of teams that could have interest in Roloson. There are also a few teams out East that would likely have interest in Roloson, Tampa Bay and Philly, perhaps more. Colorado, Edmonton and Vancouver alone would likely cause some sort of bidding war. I know that Roloson to Vancouver makes a lot of sense as the Canucks have seen first hand how well Roloson can play, especially in the post-season. On top of that he's an UFA at seasons end which is a plus for the Canucks(Cloutier is under contract for next season), he has experience and most importantly playoff experience. Nonis has said he is looking for a goaltender such as this(never mentioned Roloson).

What is Wes Walz's' contract status? Is he an UFA at season's end? Is he someone the Wild would consider trading? As a Canucks' fan, he's someone I'd like to see in Vancouver. What about a Roloson/Walz to Vancouver trade? What would you guys want for that package?

Charley Walters?
A little cold blooded eh.

Chances are good that the players mentioned might be gone. It looks like Roloson will be the one traded for sure. There are others like Dupuis, Zuzyin, and maybe Walz, not that I want him to be traded but if the Wild fall out of the race, it could happen.

The only guys I think will bring anything in return will be Rollie, Dupuis, and Walz. I don't see Kuba (seems like the Wild Mgmt still like him) or Mitchell being traded now, that leaves Zuzyin the odd man out on D. Daigle won't get much of a look the way he has played this season. Who else is really out there that might get dealt? Somebody you might think will be traded, not hope they are traded.

Anyways, it looks like the Wild are going to take a shot at the 8th seed for now so Why trade to EDM which whom we will be fighting with for the last playoff spot? I would guess out east somehwere for Rollie.

Here's more fuel to the fire that something is about to happen -

In today's Strib (I can't find the link), it mentioned that Risebrough cancelled his plans to watch the team in Columbus last night to stay back and work the phones, and that a trade was in the works.

I read that as well in the Star Tribune. A little light on content though. Just a quick blurb and nothing more.

If Zuzyin gets traded I wonder if Burns will move back to defense. I doubt they'd bring up Heid, Reitz or stoner yet.

Heid would have to make it back to Houston before he makes it to Minny - isn't he in the ECHL now?

We have little depth on defense...

FYI no trade will happen until either Harding gets better OR if they want to use Kopriva as a backup...

Didn't the Wild sign the other goalie, Seamus Kotyk? No worries if he is claimed I would guess if he's called up. They'll make this deal if it's what they want for whichever goalie it happens to be. Regardless if Kopriva, Harding, Kotyk have to be called up as a backup and sit on the bench.

Keep dreaming. Why would they trade us them when they're breathing down our backs in the playoff run. Maybe, maybe this could happen at the deadline - but I doubt it.

"Gonchar is probably the most shopped player in the NHL right now. San Jose makes so much sense, as do Buffalo and Minnesota"

Just reporting what I found...
