Do we know anything about potential jersey changes for next year or has none of that stuff come out yet?

Bobrovsky gonna start both games in NY? Or will Korpisalo be back to start the Rangers game?

I presume they're going to split them, but that's just an educated guess based on how they've handled recent back-to-backs.

If they split I'd do Korpi vs Isles and Bob vs Rangers

I'd consider the other way 'round, seeing as tho the Isles are pretty hot lately.

Not a lot of info yet. We do know that all teams will only have home and away jerseys next season. I doubt the Jackets will change much other then the name and number fonts will likely change a little along with some other slight changes.

No disrespect, but the Rangers being 8-1-1 in their last 10 is not exactly frigid. But that's just my opinion.

I confess I didn't even look at the Rangers' recent record. I'm going to go sit in a corner and feel shame now.

How does Philadelphia accomplish a 10 game winning streak and still work their way to 6 points out of a playoff spot before March 1st?

My take: 4 things.

1) Average to below-average goal-tending. And somewhat mental; once one goes in, no matter how good or bad the goal was, both Neuvirth and Mason have turned into Mason 2009-10 vintage.
2) D is in some spots (but not all) as young as we are, but without the Savard/Johnson shutdown pair. Also their young D seem to be more "score first" mentality than ours.
3) PHIL are at their best when extremely physical, almost but not quite gooning it up. They seem to be shying away from that until hopelessly behind, perhaps in response to directive to avoid too many penalties - but that is not their game - or at least it hasn't been in the past.
4) Giroux/Jake not at top of their games - still very good, but not producing enough goals. Pretty passes, but not goals.

Ew no thanks. I wouldn't mind having a few "throwback" nights where we wear those old jerseys, but not as the thirds.

I think I read awhile back that Adidas isn't making the alternate jersey next year, but I didn't hear that the alternate jersey was going to become the main jersey. I wouldn't mind that if it happened as I find the mains to be uninspired. OTOH, as long as the team is winning I don't care what jersey they wear.

No thirds next season and no way they would ever bring back the original jersey for anything other then a throw back night some day. I also doubt they are planing to use the thirds as home jerseys.

I agree with you, though I would be interested in seeing an "away" version of the third jersey.

Looking forward to it.

But I'd guess it's an unlikely matchup. I think the Jackets will pull ahead of the Rags down the stretch, and Montreal probably won't win their division.

My guess on the likely matchups
50% Pens
15% Rangers
15% Panthers
10% Habs
10% other Atlantic

Of course, yesterday's game was a potential first round matchup too.

nope

according to reddit, the style has numbers like the WCOH Canada jerseys while utilizing the same primary logo, and secondary logo shoulder patches.

So..are you liking the Panthers to leapfrog MTL, OTT, TOR and BOS to win Atlantic and CBJ to drop to WC1? Or, the CBJ to win Metro and Panthers to pass NYI and TOR to get WC2?

That Atlantic is a joke. How has Montreal NOT won a game in regulation the entire month of February and still leading the division? And they're down 3-1 currently @ NJD with 11 minutes remaining. They're 3-7-1 in February not counting current NJD game and tomorrow night's outcome. All 3 wins in OT. Yet no other Atlantic team's been able to catch them yet because all the other teams can't get any momentum.

I'm liking the CBJ going on another tear and winning the President's Trophy

I don't understand the theory behind this playoff format. It seems unfair that one has the 2nd best record in the conference ends up playing the 3rd best record in the first round, then if they win they likely play the best record. Meanwhile a team with the 5th best record plays the 8th team, then the winner of 6 and 7 in the 2nd round. What kind of a prize is that for having a strong regular season?
