I agree, I always liked him, but this year I've just liked him more and more and more.

I don't have cable so can not watch games. Went to today's game. Yup man crush on zad. That hit on shiefle (sp- sorry but not really). Omg. My son and I have watched it over & over and talked about why you skate with head UP.
10 + years of Z I can live with.

The kid is looking to be finally arriving. It looks like he will make us, including myself, stop crying about the O'Reilly trade. Looking for more points next year too ... At least a small glimmer of hope for next year.

Radulov is still #1, but Zads is too awesome

I think he has 4 points in his last 5 games as well. He played the right side again today, and I'm surprised at how well he's done there.

I'm so glad that Zadorov has been unleashed. He was held back so long to learn the ropes a bit and he felt really neutered. Now he's just an animal on a mission.

If Mironov makes the Avs next year and gets paired with Z, look the eff out everyone. I'd just straight up go for a change off the face off if I saw them out there.

I'd be worried for our sake, too. They'd both be looking to annihilate players at the same time lol.

Keep them on different pairings, make two of our pairings scary instead of one.

For sure, but hopefully that won't happen much, as the big hits tend to come near one side of the ice of the other. Not many are in the middle of the ice these days.

I think it's a bit of a gamble to pair them together for more than one reason. The main one being that they're both young. Z's actually a year younger.

Mironov seems to speak only limited English though, so having a D partner that can communicate with him, and translate things the coach's are telling them about little adjustments to make during the game, is pretty important.

I doubt Tyutin is here next year, so that would leave Z as the only D man who speaks his language, unless they bring in another Russian. I think it's possible they see time together.

Those hits last night were absolutely brutal . I was sort of giggling nervously thinking about what kind of a beast we're going to have on the back-end in the future and for so long while also hoping Scheifele was going to be okay.

I'm SO happy this is the one game I decided to tune in for. Our D is going to look better in the future with the likes of Bigras and potentially Mironov coming in.

I still can't believe Scheifele finished that game. That's like getting hit by a bus crossing the street, and just getting up and walking away like it was nothing.

He's lucky it was Z and not say Pronger or someone of that ilk, because he'd be eating through a straw right now. Horrible awareness, and further proof he lacks it after the way he made that suicide pass that led to Laine being knocked out cold.

The ignorance surrounding this guy still is just astounding. I checked out the Canucks board and you have a poster saying he is a bottom pairing defensman and will never be anything more, Hutton is more valuable than Zadorov, saying they might trade Gudbranson for Zadorov, Sbisa for Zadorov...Jesus. Utter stupidity, and utterly amazing how since joining the Avs he's turned into garbage in the eyes of most.
