I hope it's beer!

My guess is someone is hurt, either Brashear, Stevenson or Eager, I think if it wasn't one of those three they'd call up Matt Ellison.

I really hope you're right. But that's probably wishful thinking.

one can only hope...

They wouldn't call up Gratton just for him to run around and start fights.

Philly is said to be scouting Cujo? That's what is going around anyways. I was wonding if Cujo,Morris,Ricci for Esche, prospect would be sufficient. Boucher got traded and now any deal the yotes do , will be a package for a goalie. Nittymaki is a good goalie, I wounder if you guys think it would be fair.

The Sabres won't take their shenanigans in their own house. One of those fights was only because Adam Mair ran away from Donald Brashear like a scared little girl -- that was simply taking care of business.

Depends on which "prospect", it would have to be a good one for Phoneix to give up all of them since they would command a good return. (All three are UFA's this summer)

Maybe Brashear is playing defense tonight so Gratton is filling in for him.

How about Ryan Potulny or Rejean Beauchemin? Cujo , Ricci, Morris for Esche, Potulny or Beachemin?

Well this is Mike Barnett we're talking about. Clarke seems to make him offers he can't refuse. He'd probably even get Phoenix to take Bundy off his hands, the man has that kind of power over Barnett.

Seriously, Morris and Joseph should both command a return slightly lower to what Weight brough St. Louis. A high 2nd round pick each + some marginal player/prospect.

the only reason gratton was called up was because nedved was a maybe tonight.
they said at the begining of the game nedved's groin was bothering him. but nedved played, gratton was scratched

Jedi mind tricks, via phone?

Clarke: "Bundy is the greatest ever"
Barnett: "Not even I am stupid enough to fall for that"
Clarke: "BUNDY IS THE GREATEST EVER"
Barnett: "Seriously! I'm not falling for it this time"
Clarke: "Okay, you can have Savage as well, greatest ever"
Barnett: "Now thats more like it!"
