I feel a shutout coming. Jets were scoring like crazy for a month. Beginning of a home stand against the best defense/goalie in the league. Minnesota wins 5 - 0.

Tank Commander Pavelec reporting for duty!

6-1 Wild with a goal scored for us during the last 2 minutes of the 3rd.

Well I had climbed off the tank as it looked like there was some hope. But another loss to Col & PoMo's continuing insanity (Pavs is still no 1!) says we have no choice but to bring on the tanks.

Lets start by blowing Maurice off the face of this franchise. An 8-0 whitewashing to Minny tonight might bring Chevy to his senses. Hardly care who they bring in already, anything would be an improvement.

In response to a reporter's question, Chevy shows how much chance there is that he will replace Maurice.

I can't be on the tank for the simple reason that Wheeler and Little don't have time left before they wind down. Wheels was crushed last year when the tank was on.

But I think we make moves at TDL/pre-draft for picks to replenish the prospect pool, probably finish bottom 5.

Our top 6 was shutout last game... I don't think they'll allow that to happen twice in a row.

(actually everyone but Lowry was shutout )

Well, I'm not having any part of this tank talk tonight. I'm going to wear my Lucky Lowry jersey to the game, and shout True North and chant Pavy Pavy when he makes a highlight reel save and support the organization by buying lots of beer and just be the best doggone fan I can possibly be! And I'm optimistic that all this positivity just glowing from my seat will inspire the boys to a win.

Hard to call a shut out against a team of scorers like winnipeg

Maybe a 5-2 win

When's the last time winnipeg has been shut out?

I hope Pavelec is healthy and comes back in the net to continue the tank and to let Maurice dig his own grave

Reluctantly on board with the tank now. I still hate losing, but I want Maurice gone more than anything, immediately. The season is very close to being toast and the odds are getting grim (around 8.8%).

This tank runs itself lol
Super embarrassing to still be here.
Need some absolute **** shows at the MTS Centre this home stand to highlight how directionless this team is.
The nice offshoot can be an elite C or D prospect (in the case of D, just pack up on 2nd, 3rd rd picks and pick all the ones with potential seriously. Think of what we'd have to trade Philadelphia for Sanheim / Provorov or Anaheim for Theodore - Wingers are cheap).

I still don't mind Chevy though. Hopefully they learned from Stanley pick. I don't think Chevy's mistakes are as bad as some others - he makes lots of small mistakes but nothing I think too critical. Keeping Maurice around longer would be really frustrating though.

That is wrong. The worst thing that could happen is to fire maurice now unless you plan on hiring Julien right now. The team needs to win 2 and lose 3 for the rest of the season and we should be good for 3rd last.

I had a dream we got 1st overall. Took Nolan Patrick and we also had pick 16 (from a trade) and took Jusso Valimaki LHD Tri City of the WHL.

Jets also made a draft day trade to pick up another first where they grabbed another Winnipeg born player in Cody Glass.

Dreaming about the draft lottery in February? Irrefutable proof that you're a Jets fan.

So mad at these last 2 games even as a pro-tank individual. I just shudder to imaging what those who genuinely believe that the playoffs are a possibility must feel like

Some people refuse to accept reality. 25 games left. We need 15 20 wins. 20 wins gives us 94 points.

18 gives us 90.

So they probablyhave to win at least 17 of 25 to have a slim chance. It's not happening

I started believing but then Colorado. I told myself b4 that game... this is where you see if they are playoff contenders or playoff pretenders. They got dominated

He stuck around just long enough to allow the 3rd goal. That's dedication.

Didn't see him on the bench afterward. Was he injured, or did he just get into a snit and decided to retire to the dressing room for the rest of the game?

Well I was sad that Pav got hurt since the tank was humming along just fine...but then I realized it just means we may see a bit of Hutch....and he is the ultimate tank weapon!!!
