I honestly think they have all of the key ingredients to go all the way if Turco keeps playing solid, and guys like Lehtinen, Modano, and Zubov stay healthy.
When your defense is as soft as ours, it just doesn't bode well for the playoffs. We need a Witt or a Salei to go with a Corso-esque player up front in perhaps a Dallas Drake or Scott Mellanby.

With Zubie and Boucher healthy..Niinimaa improving the way he is, our Rookie in Daley, Skoula..well hes the only real weak one of of the group, and the vetern leadership with Klemm I thought our D is ok for now.
Our defense is excellent and "toughness" has little value in itself. Armstrong will not and should not make any more moves there unless something of exceptional value appears.
I definitely wouldn't waste time on a Witt or Salei. Gaining toughness but losing alacrity on 'D' seems counterproductive when our transition defense is among the primary reasons we win so often.
We do need more scoring, though. Our offense isn't very creative at all. It's exposed on the power play and very predictable even strength.
