Any coverage of the consolation game online? (Legal coverage, of course.) I get why they're rerunning BU/BC on NESN, and nobody's really interested in the losers' game when it's a 4 game tourney...but it would be nice to watch some new hockey between hacking and sneezing.

Harvard roster:
http://www.gocrimson.com/sports/mice/2016-17/roster
Bruins prospects: Donato (16) and Sherman (25)

BU roster:
http://www.goterriers.com/roster.aspx?path=mhockey
Bruins prospects: McAvoy (7), JFK (23)

Joe Sakic is hanging around for the Beanpot. I don't read this as anything more than "hanging around because he was here yesterday", but who knows what the Avs want for Landeskog.

The colleges all have radio broadcasts, but I'm not really interested in hockey on the radio, so....I'll have to wait until 7:30. For anyone interested, here's the link to the various stations:

I don't see any Avalanche draft picks playing in the Beanpot, but there are up to 36 draftees playing tonight (BU-11, BC-9, Har-9, Nor-9)

JFK going to the box for, what looked like, a clean hit
He's going to be goooood. Very calm and smart, had a nice shot early in the shift and really felt the time he had

Avalanche Director of Player Development guy Brett Clark was up in Prince George today as well watching the Cougar game. Not many scouts go up there and it was his 2nd visit for Colorado up there in the past 3 weeks

McAvoy takes a penalty while Shorthanded. A little Bruin-on-Bruin crime as he's called for boarding Ryan Donato.

Donato looking pretty shifty. He's gotten the better of McAvoy a couple of times along the boards

Soft calls on JFK and Bellows but Harvard was outplaying BU even before that. McAvoy is lucky to escape the first with only one penalty. It'll be interesting to see how this game is reffed going forward.

Love JFK's game from the handful of BU games I've seen.

BC's loss tonight damages their NCAA chances. Hard to believe Hockey East leader would be in trouble but the Eagles are sitting 14th in the pairwise. With the WCHA and Atlantic autobids taking the 15th and 16th spots in the field so Eagles are perilously close to missing out. Must start winning to cement bid.

Honestly, NESN really needs to be able to stream this nationwide, I can't believe the game I'm missing.

Mark Messier in the house, too. Harvard's Luke Esposito is his nephew.

McAvoy needs to take it easy on Donato- he's treating him like he's Andrew Shaw

I really wanna be blown away by McAvoy like so many others are here but I just dont see the Doughty potential that everyone raves about.

I love the kid, love him as a prospect, rooting for him but just don't think I'm as high on him as so many other people on here.

I really havent seen him that many times and maybe I just always catch him on his off games but...to me I see a bit of a project still.

I don't see him stepping into a top 4 D role with the bruins next season but I didn't see Carlo doing so either so I am probably wrong.

Either way, I see a real impressive skillset, hits, skates, passing amazing.

Positioning, thinking the game, decision making, defensive side of things of course needs work...which is expected given his age and I am confident he will put it altogether. Seems like he is already a workhorse, on the ice in big minutes.

But yea...in all my viewings he has been pretty...meh this season.
I do see flashes of potential.

Harvard scores, up 3-2.
